Thanks for the information on the dyes! The game looks great. I'm excited to get a group together and try it.
The english digital edition has shipped. Email me email@example.com if you didn't receive your copy.
@Arsonor we used water-based ink which dye's the fibers of the canvas itself so you won't see further wear to the lettering. This is different from the more common plastisol ink which flakes off over time.
@Sean there might be some residual smell from the stain we used for the dowels. It should fade away with time.
Mine arrived. It has a slight odor, but not too unpleasant. I'm guessing it will fade in time. I immediately got rid of the rubber band and plastic bag. I might replace the foam end pieces with something more natural looking. Maybe trade out the dice for plastic or bone one? Some of the scroll writing is either printed poorly or rubbing/rubbed off. But it is still readable, so as long as it stays that way I should be good to go. Thank you!
I cannot speak to the smell - it was in a box that sat on my front stoop for some hours, so it was very very cold. I just unboxed it, checked contents for completeness and damage, unrolled and rerolled the scroll, and put it back in the box and the box into my board game shelf. Once it all warms up and I pull it out I'll know if the canvas + screen ink is off-gassing in some odorous way.
Fall of Magic - Arrived! My scroll edition arrived this weekend, much to my somewhat unexpected surprise and joy. The scroll looks great, the coins are superb and I'm looking forward to playing it over the holidays. Well done.
Wondering the same - the last I received was the beta.
Did I miss the PDF/print-and-play delivery?
Mine arrived in the mail yesterday! It looks great, and smells awful. =]
So... we're in Mid-November... any news?
Happy to wait for perfection! :)
Yay progress! Really enjoyed playing this with you at PAX. You all have a lot of awesome to look forward to! Excited to play this more.
