After three years Fall of Electricity is ready to record their second album. This spring we’ll be at Dub Narcotic studios with producer Ephriam Nagler recording a new album titled "the Grunge Era."
Please help us bring this music into the world :)
Backers at the $1 and up level will receive immediate access to our garage–recorded demo of "Fell on Chris Cornell" as well as the final mastered song when it is completed, illustrating beyond a shadow of a doubt why Ephriam is worth the big bucks.
$5 STORY GAME + SINGLE
Backers at the $5 level and up will explore the lives of four band members as they tour through the heart of the American dreamscape in Fall of Electricity: The Return of Grunge, a story game by Jackson Tegu.
$10 DIGITAL ALBUM + GAME
All backers pledging $10 and up will receive a digital version of "The Grunge Era" in mp3 and lossless formats as well as the story game.
$17 BOTH ALBUMS + GAME
Nothing goes with fresh jams like stale hits. From Protoss vs Zerg and Makeout Hangover, to the classic Grunge–Era Sara, our self titled debut is packed full of them. Backers at this $17 level and up will receive downloads of both our original and our new album as well as a pdf of the game.
$30 T-SHIRT + BOTH ALBUMS + GAME
Backers at the $30 level and up will also receive a Fall of Electricity T-Shirt. Hand silkscreened, in your size, and sick as hell.
If our funding tops $3,000 we'll release a limited run of 1,000 CDs in a handsome letterpressed jacket with a full color poster insert. Backers will be able to choose to receive a CD as an alternate reward at the $15 level. (we'll make another reward level for CD + 1st album as well)
At this level we'll release a limited run of 500 Vinyl records with a full color poster insert. Backers will be able to choose to receive both a Vinyl record and a digital download as a reward at the $25 level.
Risks and challenges
Ross has released over 25 albums on his record label Bicycle Records so we've got a really clear idea of what it takes to put out an album. That said, while we've done our best to account for the inevitable production delays, it is possible that we could deliver a month or two after our targets.
Regardless of what happens we'll make every effort to communicate what is going on and resolve any problems that come up.
