Good morning!

Congratulations to every Backer (and future Backer) of RWBY: Combat Ready! With your support we have now unlocked the Emerald and Mercury’s Sub-boss Objective Deck! This deck is now available as an Add-On purchase that you can include with your copy of RWBY: Combat Ready for an additional pledge increase of $10.00 (includes shipping to USA, EU, AU, and NZ.)

The Emerald and Mercury Sub-boss Objective Deck is an additional new objective available as an Add-On for RWBY: Combat Ready. They come with one (1) objective card and an 18 card deck representing their individual and dual attacks and actions. They can now be added as a sub-boss when playing against such Villains as Roman Torchwick, Cinder Fall, or Adam Taurus!

Not sure how to add Emerald and Mercury’s Sub-boss Objective Deck to your pledge? Check out our handy dandy step by step guide - HERE!

We’ll be in touch with more information soon.

Just need to be clear on this. If I were to purchase the Basic package of $45 + $8 (shipping fee), and I want to get this add-on, do I have to include the shipping fee in the pledge? So should it be $45 (base) + $10 (add-on) + $11 (total shipping fee) = $66. Or should it be $63?

I'm still a little confused by how Add-Ons work. There are two Add-Ons that are $10, this one and the New RWBY Character. If all you do is manually add $10 to your pledge how do they know which add on you're adding?

      @Matthew:
The former. If you want both the E&M add-on and the art cards from the $55 pledge, you have to pledge $65 (by selecting the $55 pledge tiers and then manually adding $10).

just wondering with the whole add $10 for mercury and emerald does it have to be $10 more then what we were paying for or does it come with say the $55 pledge because the original was $45?

Is there any chance we might eventually get an add-on option for miniatures of Neo, Emerald, and Mercury? I realize they have even less game functionality than the miniatures for Roman, Adam, and Cinder, but what can I say, I have a weakness for plastic crack.

ALSO, still waiting on T-Shirt Add-On news. The only current way to get a second shirt is to get another Kickstarter login and purchase a second copy of the game from there.
      -
I’m paying for this with/for my sister, who is 12 years younger than me and a different shirt size. I don’t want to get 2 copies of the game, and I don’t want only 1 of us to get a shirt if we can avoid it.

While we’re on the topic of shipping, what are current shipping plans, and can we pay extra to have it shipped faster? For instance, if the ‘included’ shipping price is for a 7-day delivery, can we pay to upgrade to overnight?
If the answer becomes yes, I’d imagine this being taken care of in BackerKit instead of during the Kickstarter. But if they could announce the prices to upgrade/speed up shipping (by country... that’d take awhile...), that might help us reach Mystery Character.

You allocate money after the campaign is over:

      Tony said:
"OK, I’m going to answer all the add-on / shipping questions from newest to oldest:
@Maciek, it’s reasonable to expect the OC character will cost more than the Emerald & Mercury add-on. All of these costs are based on actual manufacturing costs for the project (and don’t forget the included shipping)!
@ChaosCzar, if you’re not in the included shipping areas of the world you could add the shipping now & assist in unlocking more stretch goals, or add later in the BackerKit pledge manager.
@Jacob, yes. Just add $10 per Emerald & Mercury add-on you want (or $13 for select international countries)
      @Andrew, the miniatures are unpainted.
@Johnathan, yes. $13 for Emerald & Mercury to countries not listed as friendly shipping.
@Harrison, the easiest way to look at it is this:
#1. Pick a pledge Tier. You get everything listed in that Tier.
#2. Pick add-ons (any number of them), add each amount to your pledge level.
#3. After the campaign you pick & choose where the money is allocated.
      So if you want the $125 Tier + $20 Villain Miniatures + $10 Emerald & Mercury it’s a total $155."

So I increased my pledge from $45 to $55, they will automatically add this to it? Is there a confirmation anywhere?

Trueflight Silverwing is right about the shipping cost.
      It makes sense.

      Thorgor on

@Orm: Tony just confirmed in the comments that you will be able to use your extra pledge money to cover shipping costs (which means you can add the $3 (plus the $8, or whatever int. shipping is required for your pledge level) now and contribute to reaching further SGs, or wait until the campaign is over to do so, your choice)

@Rielle actually this still costs more than trading cards lol a 15 card booster is usually about $4 so this is at least 200% of that price, plus I'd think this is the discounted price for backers, although I almost hope not lol

      Fabian on

      @Orm
Inside USA, EU, AU and NZ: 10$
      Outside: 13$ (certain countries)
      I think...

      Penny please!

    14. Missing avatar

      Thorgor on

@Matthew: the UK is considered to still be part of the EU as far as shipping fees go. You don't have to pay extra.

@Rielle: comparing this to trading cards is not fair. One could also say that a standard 54 card poker deck cost way less than $10 for more cards... and that would be an equally unfair comparison.
$10 *is* a little expensive for a 18 card expansion. But eh, if it helps get to Penny sooner...
It's just a little sad that we have to pay extra for it to be shipped separately. Is there really no way to simply add the deck to the parcel that contains the base game?

    15. Orm on

@Trueflight okay I would increase my pledge by 10$ and not 13$ right? I’ve backed kickstarters before but never dealt with this kind of stuff.

    16. Rielle on

Well, the price is relatively reasonable in my opinion. People buy packs of trading cards with less cards for more. I'm just curious if we're getting it cheaper than their intended retail price for being backers, because if they intend to make future minis cost more than the current villain add ons then I have some concerns.

On a positive note though, damn, look at all those pledges increasing for Em&Merc. Penny in no time! ^^

    17. Rémi 2J on

      10$ for ~20 cards !! That is super expensive ! I will pass !

    18. Justin Boehm
      Superbacker
      on

@Trueflight hmm ok, better add a lot to the game, $10 for less than 20 cards is pricey

    19. Trueflight Silverwing on

      @
Justin Boehm looks like a single deck for the both of them as they mention solo and duo attack cards.

    20. Trueflight Silverwing on

@Orm no, shipping is usually added after the campaign ends in the pledge manager stage. The reason is that Kickstarter takes a % of all the money pledged during the campaign, where shipping costs are generally fixed amounts that are added on later. If you put in your shipping fees now, they will lose a % of that and not have enough to cover the actual shipping costs later.

    21. Orm on

So do I have to add the 3$ for shipping to Canada?

So since I'm from the UK do I only increase my pledge by $10 or do I have to add the extra shipping charge?

Increased pledge! Happy we got this goal unlocked.

Is it emerald and mercury together as a sub-boss, or 2 different options? If different, 18 cards each and 1 objective each or is it $10 for 19 cards?
