About this project
We are pleased to announce that TABLE is back! Join us April 17-19, 2015 at the Grapevine Convention Center to learn and play an amazing selection of tabletop games, meet and greet guests, and shop with local vendors from Dallas/Fort Worth and the Southwest area.
Please back this campaign to guarantee your attendance. Tickets are limited!
TABLE stands for Tabletop And Board Game Learning Expo. The event celebrates tabletop gaming and the amazing people that play tabletop games. Our goal is to introduce our favorite hobby to the Dallas/Fort Worth community by hosting an event where folks are welcome to try new games, meet the people who design them, and learn about the hobby from its biggest fans.
We’re so excited to improve TABLE that we've invited Collected: Your Pop Culture Headquarters as a partner this year. You’ll have access to comics and collectibles from Collected, and an even bigger selection of local game companies and vendors. Just like last year, Roll2Play is bringing the game library so you'll have a huge selection of games to learn and play!
If you'd like to buy multiple passes (for one day or the full weekend), back at the appropriate level and add to your pledge.
Example: To buy two full weekend passes (adult) and two full weekend passes (kids) for a family of four, back at the FULL WEEKEND PASS level, and increase the pledge to $80 when you fill out the form.
Full Weekend Pass: $25 (For the first Adult)
Additional Pledge: $55 ($25 (Adult) + $15 (Kid) + $15 (Kid))
If you have any questions about pledges, please contact us through the campaign page!
Sandy is a Dallas/Fort Worth local and a legendary game designer. He'll be at TABLE 2 to hang out, play games, and talk about his amazing career spent making games that people love.
Clint is a local artist who has contributed beautiful art for Magic: The Gathering cards, Dungeons & Dragons, and other fantasy games. Clint will be at TABLE 2 to deliver workshops on drawing and meet fans!
Watch closely as we'll update the guest list during the campaign. We've got some big reveals coming as the campaign progresses!
We'll have a table designated for playing games from his series, and Rodney will spend the weekend teaching and playing games with TABLE attendees. He may even take time to do a panel on teaching games!
Watch It Played is a YouTube series that teaches you how to play tabletop games. Rodney and his family record themselves playing popular games so that you can learn the rules without having to navigate a hefty rulebook. Rodney is a fantastic ambassador for the tabletop gaming hobby and we can't wait to see him at TABLE 2!
$6,500 - Lunch & Dinner Options on site at TABLE 2
Instead of having to leave the expo for meals, we'll hire a catering company to provide food and beverages during TABLE. These will be at a reasonable price to attendees, and we'll ask for your opinions in what types of food we should bring in. More Stretch Goals to come as the campaign continues!
We're proud to team up with existing conventions and groups, and we'll update this list as our community of partners grows.
Risks and challenges
The Grapevine Convention Center has already been booked for TABLE 2, and the proceeds from the campaign will pay the rest of the booking fees, marketing, promotional material, and cost of bringing in guests.
If this campaign funds, the event WILL happen because all costs associated with TABLE 2 will have been covered from this campaign.
Passes will be distributed at the convention center during the convention. It is the backer's responsibility to pick up passes at the event.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
