Rogue Heroes!

This morning we wanted to keep it fun and take a closer look at "What's in the box?"

The responses to the 3D renders have been amazing but many of you are asking to see photos as well. Below are some photos of painted minis. Two of my personal favorites: the Combat Cyborg and the Juicer Assassin.

 

People were also asking about the cards and we're happy to oblige. Let's start with the 5 Heroes of Lazlo. Each character starts with an initiative card, a character card, and 9 ability cards with different powers accessible at different levels of experience.

 

 

 

 

We know many of you still have questions and concerns. This afternoon we'll be releasing a comprehensive Q&A.

      @john f on their Facebook page there is a lot more detail about the cards, plus you can read them. It's only the cyberknight.
      Really not sure why they haven't included any of the information they posted on face book here though. Really puzzling.

      I wish I could read the text on the cards. I don't mind them having the same art - it'd make it easier to sort them. Although having the full art on the back of the card and more room for text on the front would allow you to use a larger font. Gamers' eyes do get older and weaker, I'm afraid!

      You know say something is something doesn't mean anything if you don't deliver on it. This had better be a comprehensive Q&A that answers questions that the community has asked and not a bunch of pre-canned questions from the designers.

      I guess I have to assume a lot of things since RHG refuses to say anything of substance about the game they're trying to sell us and refuses to publish the supposedly finished rule book.

      I assume that each card will have a mechanic for recharging the ability? That's why there are multiple per character? Of course a game play video would help clear that up...

      I'm also assuming that the graphics are just a place holder for future art? Of course answering actual questions would clear this up...

      Why have the art take up so much space on the ability cards if every picture is the same? Wouldn't it be better to use the art on the back of the card and just have the text on the front? Seems like a lot of wasted space to me. Unless the plan is to differentiate each ability by eventually using a different picture on each card that is representative of what the ability does.

      It looks like you're printing a lot of cards for each character. You could lower printing costs by scrapping the repetitive art and combining the information on the cards. Like, have 4 cards instead of 11.

      So are the action deck cars, gear and talent cards something else?

      Can not wait for the Q&A so we can finally (maybe?) find out what kind of game this is. So excite.

      I see two character cards for each mini, is one for the campaign and one for PvP, or is it a level or injured type of difference? thanks

      Interesting. Keep these coming. Any update on a thicker battlemat?
