Hey everyone! Just over 48hrs and we've already surpassed 60% of our goal.  We can’t thank you enough for all the support. Rogue Heroes is a small, but passionate outfit and it’s really exciting to see Carmen’s project come to life before our very eyes.

BOOOOOM!

Because you asked for it... we're revealing the fan favorite, much loved GLITTER BOY and GB pilot miniatures!  This is available as an Add-On for a special kickstarter price of $28.  We are so happy with how it turned out and really excited to share it with you all.  To get the GB and GB pilot miniatures all you have to do is add $28 to your pledge.

Watch for more updates as we have a play through video on the way as well as answers to those burning questions.  And a few more surprises!

Stay Tuned,

Drew

Is there any chance that more individual miniatures will be available as add-ons for people who have more interest in the miniatures than the game or want more flexability in creating their teams?

Not arguing, commenting on the mini not being worth the price. Stop. Every no melodramatic about grown men deciding where to spend their money.

    3. Supreme Leader on

whats hilarious here is grown men arguing over a measly $28 LOL.

I think you're giving too much credit here. Let's say that they did strip down the core box in order to make them SGs - which, let's face it, is pretty standard practice.

However, if that were the case wouldn't you expect the SGs listed on the main page to actually be spelled out already? You know, like ready to go before launching the campaign? Their whole point is to drive sales. Not putting them in...doesn't drive sales. It just makes the core box less appealing.

But then again, Palladium Books is known for terrible business sense.

It appears that they stripped numerous things out of the core box in order to make them SGs (which will now not happen). Things like a color rulebook, additional figures and probably a better quality map (I mean do they really think that a premium $100 board game should come with a 9 fold paper map like this was a RPG).

The first stretch goal is at $130,000. Even if this thing funds it will be lucky to make it to the first stretch goal.

Planning like you're getting a future stretch goal is...unrealistic.

It seems pricey to me as well. However, I think stretch goals can easily balance it out if we get some good miniatures there. Splurgorth, perhaps!

    8. Todd Ferrullo on

Yeah by modern standards these are quite overpriced for board game quality plastic figures. Quite honestly, very few are going to be willing to shell out $35 for these at retail.

imo, this should have been a base addon, if not included in the box already on top of that. the glitter boy is the icon of Rifts. I know personally i was not willing to back this kickstarter without the option available to get glitter boys. at least they did a reveal on it and it is not some absurd stretch goal requirement to get them.

@Supreme Leader: I came here for the waters.

      Jaw-dropping awsomeness.

    12. Ehren37 on

That is absurdly overpriced for what it is. I don't expect CMON levels of value, since you'll never have their economy of scale, but some realistic prices would be nice.

@Isaac Alexander thx for your support and happy to answer your question; 4 pieces. plus pilot

Yeah, $28 is a bit high. I know the glitter boy has the volume of like 4 human miniatures, so this is really like 5 miniatures (we'll say 6) for $28. Still pretty darned high.
      .
Instead of a dozen, I'll have to restrict myself to 4 :)
      .
I have 8 metal SAMAS being painted now so now, about the spider-skull walker and a few squads of skelebots :D
      .
I may have to hold back selling my huge reaper bones lots, as they had a lot of stuff I'd need for Tolkeen battles!

    15. Supreme Leader on

To the guys crying about the extra $28... why are you here?

While I agree that the price seems high, you are getting more than just two minis, you're also getting the character action cards and weapon card. It's still pretty high, but I just want to point that out since people keep saying "$28 for just two minis".

This should have been an unlock and included in the price of the $150 bundle. If this add-on trend continues, I'm out.

    18. Jurnee Jakes on

Red flag here. This should be a stretch goal. Asking people to add to their pledge before it's even backed?

$28? For two figures? Are you sure?

It seems a bit pricey to me.

Not a stretch goal that would get added to the core box? Would have made a good stretch goal.

I've been really excited about the Rifts BG and backed the KS at launch. Other games I've backed have come with a ton more minis for the same cost, I realise this project is maybe not on the same scale, the pricing seems off for this though. The model is cool but $38 CAD?

    21. Elizabeth on

Add-ons currently account for ~3% of the total money this campaign has raised. You might want to shift your focus to engaging new backers rather than trying to get more money out of the current ones.

How many pieces does the glitter boy come in?

    23. Logus Vile on

      uhmm... that's almost $38 CAD!! :(

    24. JS Bragg on

I am a bit disappointed by this. If most of this project is "pay a lot for more" I will most likely back out. I'm excited by the project, but in truth there is a limit to what I can pay. Also 30$ for 2 minis seems a bit much for me to consider.
