About the Game
At MG Games, we all love gaming; especially tabletop and card games. Fields of War MG is inspired by strategy elements from popular tabletop war games and the deck building mechanics of most trading card games. We've used these vastly different mechanics and combined them together to make a fast-paced war game that's easy to play, and incredibly affordable.

We need production and exposure for our game, and Kickstarter is the best platform we can use to accomplish our goal. The game is finished, and we've play tested it extensively to make sure that the game not only plays well, but is fun too! Now, we just want others to enjoy the game we've worked so hard to create.
How is the Budget used?
A majority of our funds from Kickstarter will be used to print the mats, cards, and boxes. The remainder of the funds will be used to compensate our artists for the amazing game art that they have created.
What comes next?
We have several new expansion sets planned for Fields of War. After our first campaign, we intend to put out a new set every year with new races! The new sets will also include new cards for existing races, plus new neutral cards that can be used on any set! We are also looking to hold Tournaments at any conventions or stores we can make it to from our home city in Missouri.
Risks and challenges
Our risks are very small. The game itself is 80% completed. Once we are funded we just have to order the mats, dice, and units etc (which we already have lined up). We could do as little as one game set all the way up to 10,000 sets and still meet our deadline.
Shipping the game is the only real challenge for a small company like us. We have put realistic expectations for product shipment on this page, however, there could be small shipment delays. The game is definitely worth waiting for, so please bear with us as we gather the necessary resources to bring you your game in a timely fashion.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
