I had interesting conversation with friends and supporters of Eyebeam about this campaign. There were few frequent questions about why they should support this. The biggest reason to support this campaign is because it is one of Eyebeam's effort to open their space up to more audience (workshop participants/ potential artists in residence/ students/ etc). Eyebeam's Bookstore is a unique bookstore that presents art publications side by side with opensource tutorials on Arduino, Open frameworks, etc. It is also a space for fellows and residents to curate mini exhibitions that feature artists who are not officially Eyebeam artist, but still influence our research and development process via inspiration and collaboration. I've curated Fair Exchange, featuring my favorite artists David Horvitz and Kyle McDonald. More things like that can happen here. ... )*&%$#&()()____Thanks! Lots of love for Eyebeam! Check out the mural I'm working on with LNY. Due to finish next Friday, in time for Open Studios event.
