We have equipped Zümi with industry-standard tools used by self-driving car engineers, such as Tensor Flow and Open CV, to train her to drive autonomously in a given environment. TensorFlow is an open-source software library for data flow programming across a range of tasks. OpenCV is a library of programming functions mainly aimed at real-time computer vision. They are both common tools used in the self driving car industries.
Fun for both beginners and advanced coders
Zümi is easy to pick up and start learning with, but there’s also an extraordinary amount of depth to explore. Beginners can use our web-based IDE to write code for Zümi using block-based coding and Python, with just a standard browser and no special set up.
For more experienced coders, they can write their own TensorFlow and Keras code to craft their unique self-driving car experiments, and architect their own neural networks to train Zümi to classify objects and recognize gestures.
Even if you have no experience with robotics, you will find interacting with Zümi an entertaining educational experience. Her expressions and behaviors are endearing. You can play with her for hours without even opening a laptop.

It's important for children and even adults to learn about how AI works, and how it can benefit the productivity of our workforce.
Today, big companies across the globe are researching and funding autonomous driving and AI, but there are hardly any resources for learning. Robolink wants to change that, and provide a way for everyone to engage with the future.
Risks and challenges
Most of the risks and challenges are behind us. We have completed two successful Kickstarter projects (Rokit Smart and CoDrone). Our team of experienced robotics engineers poured their lives into designing this kit. Our kit has been tested by users in California and Korea. Throughout the testing phase, we worked to perfect the kit based on the feedback of the users. These users had a blast working with our prototypes and were able to create some absolutely incredible machines. And now, Zümi is ready for you. It's for people of all ages and all it's going to take is your support.
At this point, there is just one hurdle left: production. Many of the parts in this kit were custom-designed by our engineers. We have very exacting standards, so creating the molds and manufacturing the components can be very expensive. Thankfully, we have identified some top-tier factory partners who can produce our kits with a very quick turnaround time.
