Primarily a songwriter and producer, Rob has created music for a wide range of projects and TV shows. Most recently, he composed an eight-minute mini-musical for ITV's Saturday Night Takeaway, which was performed live by British television legends, Ant & Dec.
Rob was nominated for a British Comedy Award for his 'How To Make a Hit Pop Song' YouTube series.
STEAMROLLER is a ten-track "non-comedy" studio album, yet to be recorded. It will be Rob's first album of original songs since his 2008 album, 'Cracked, Shattered & Pop', (which was remixed and released through Kickstarter in 2015).
Stylistically, STEAMROLLER has been influenced by a shed-load of artists from Anderson Paak to The Beach Boys via Hall & Oates.
By pre-ordering this new album now, you are contributing towards studio and mastering costs to help make it happen. In return, you will either save money (on the digital download version) or bag yourself a super-limited-edition 12" vinyl version of the album - maybe even a signed poster.
Right now, the ten songs only exist in the form of some very rough demo recordings. However, you can listen to three of these demo recordings below.
PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THESE ARE JUST ROUGH IDEAS AT THIS STAGE...
AS AN ADDED BONUS... If the project is funded, you'll be sent a link to download all three demos immediately. These demos won't be available to stream or download anywhere else after the funding period has ended.

Risks and challenges
All ten songs are written and ready to go - the next step is the actual recording, followed by mixing and mastering. This is all going to have to be done alongside other work commitments / projects, which makes it difficult to predict how long it will take. At present, the projected completion date is some time in January 2018, but it may be that the album is finished before then. You'll receive regular updates throughout the recording process.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
