One Year Ago Today...
A year ago today, the National Park Poster Project was successfully funded on Kickstarter!
And just one year later, National Park Posters was named as one of the 27 best online stores that benefit nonprofits. It's #16 on the list -- right after NPR and before National Geographic!
I'm hoping to make a difference by engaging people across all ages and backgrounds to experience the places that are home to our country’s natural treasures, rich history, and vibrant culture and, hopefully, to help create the next generation of park supporters.
The National Park Poster Project is a way for me to give back -- I contribute 10% of on line sales to organizations that support the parks -- and recently donated more than $1000.00 to the National Park Foundation.
The National Retail Federation estimates that online sales will grow 6 to 8 percent this holiday season. That translates into billions of dollars in consumer spending that can empower philanthropy and social good, allowing conscious consumers to channel some of their spending power into the nonprofit sector. So, give back this holiday season and shop for good. #ShopForGood
