About this project
Four freshmen are trapped in their dorm during the biggest snowstorm of the year. They have enough booze and hormones to entertain themselves for a week, but one newcomer is hellbent on pushing the freshmen to the edge of sanity.
Ryan Gielen, Director: "I connected with this script because it's about how we deal with the worst in all of us. The freshmen are each pushed to deal with their loneliness, isolation, and the challenges of growing up by this one nut-job, and it's fascinating and often funny to see how each responds..."
This film is the second feature for a cast, crew and production team with over three years of experience working together. For more info on their previous projects together, check out: "The Graduates""Digits""Tony and Cal"

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
“You guys have already put together a feature before, shouldn’t you be out blowing lots of studio money?” If only…
After successfully self-distributing The Graduates, we are scrapping together every last buck again to build upon that success. Unfortunately, our couch cushions only yielded enough money for principal photography.
We are looking to you, oh beautiful Kickstarter Community (you really do look nice today), to help us make it across the finish line.
To achieve this, we are budgeting a modest $15,000 and have set our Kickstarter goal to an even lower $10,000 (although we will happily accept more:-)).
You will be donating your money to a seasoned, motivated (and quite charming) team that will see this film through to its glorious end, delivering a moving and funny film you’d be proud to show your mother (assuming your Mom is cool with “R” movies).
All Our Best,
The Dorm Team
