Stretch Reward 3 - Reaching Beyond $36,000
Did you know that Stonehearth (another game currently on Kickstarter) has achieved an average of $975 every hour since they listed their campaign? These guys have been super-helpful to Complete Earth (that’s us) and whilst we realize that their project is a lot more advanced than The Quest: Rise of Emodo, it’s not preventing us from dreaming a little...
We have 15 days remaining and we want to achieve a few of our stretch goals, beginning with the Secrets of the Elkom. This upgrade to the game becomes possible when we reach $43,000. So here are the big questions:
1) What is this upgrade?
2) Why should you care?
What is this Upgrade?
Everyone who plays The Quest: Rise of Emodo will want to become a member of the Elkom. It’s here that alliances can be born and insider information traded. With $43,000 achieved we fcan create the Secrets of the Elkom and access these cool bonus features:
1) You can play Rise of Emodo alone or create alliances. With the Secrets of the Elkom upgrade you gain visual proof of the strength of potential allies. Gaining strong allies makes it easier to solve puzzles and advance in the game.
2) A key part of the game will be to master the Realm Map which makes solving the Orb Ikaran a whole lot easier. Let’s face it the challenge of solving the orb alone will be worth it. Think about your 15 minutes of fame and the rewards which come. We’re going to make a huge deal out of solving the Orb Ikaran and you want to be the one who does it.
3) As you progress through the levels of the Elkom, your profile icon will make it easier to find Xenari Fragments – well that’s also cool. Xenari Fragments can be traded for Realm Keys and plenty of Qetoos. The higher your rank in the Elkom, the better your chances of finding Xenari Fragments.
Why should you care?
You are supporting the project because it intrigues you. Some people are trying to figure out how a games company that no one has ever hear of could bring together such an awesome pool of talent and they really want to see what emerges from this. Hint: it will be pretty neat. You also want to play the game and right now, you are all becoming Founders on the project – breathing life into our distant world. You are all going to be embedded into the game (in varying ways) and that alone is kinda cool. So, do we create the basic version of the game, or do we all get really excited and start asking all our friends to get involved and make this thing happen.
We’d love to log-in tomorrow and be talking about the next stretch goal (which is an amazing enhancement that we want to achieve). We can’t do that without a few more fans. Let’s work together and reach 300+ people. Thanks for all you support!
