This week has been 300% awesome.
We're one week into our eighteen day Kickstarter... and we're over 300% funded.
And it's thanks to the six hundred of you who've pledged. The community has rallied around Roll20, and thanks to all of you, it's going to be even better than we ever thought possible. In fact, we have a lot of very cool things in the works (some of which we'll be sharing with you as soon as Monday), but in the meantime we wanted to point out a few things.
FIRST, we're rolling out our new logo today. The original was a placeholder, and this might not seem like a big deal to everyone... but to us it very much is. Especially as it's made by our good friend Dylan Todd. Not only is Dylan an awesome designer, but he's also one of the reasons Roll20 even exists. Our core group had given up on trying to gather to play tabletop games virtually, and then Dylan invited Nolan to his regular real world sessions. Nolan had such a good time he bragged to Riley, who decided that they HAD to find a way to start playing together again. Soon he had an idea for an all-new solution and the rest is history. But we wouldn't be here at all if Dylan wasn't a friendly gaming enthusiast (heck, he was the second person to back our Kickstarter efforts!)
SECOND, we wanted to encourage those of you on Twitter to interact with us via @Roll20app. While we're rather busy continuing to improve the platform and spread the news, we're gluttons for chances to share what we're up to -- especially in a way that doesn't clutter your inbox.
Again, we're really grateful for all of your support -- especially those of you being vocal about the service. We'll be in touch again Monday with some new information on dice rolling, videos, and more to whet your appetites for the last week of the campaign!
