WOW! Thanks to all our supporters! If you procrastinated and missed the project, you can follow our NEXT set of shenanigans at www.ridiculo.us!
Well, this is embarrassing...
We wanted to make a calendar this year, but then we forgot about it. Now we're past the deadline for when calendars typically get printed.
So it's time for Plan B.
We're putting together a calendar for people like us, who wait until the last minute. It’s called The Procrastinator’s Calendar. And it's designed with the procrastinator in mind!
Instead of the typical, boring holidays, we'll feature holidays specific to procrastinators!
Each month features new procrastinator-friendly artwork. One month might be a sweet paper airplane design, or a spitwad target, or a decision-making flowchart that encourages you to put things off til later.
Who knows what else might be on the calendar? Not us! We haven't designed it all yet. But we will. Next week.
We need your help to get this done. See, we probably won’t remember to do this on our own. But if you give us your money, then we’ll sorta feel obligated. Plus there’s no better motivator than angry Kickstarter backers posting comments like “WHERE IS MY CALENDAR, YO? IT’S HALLOWEEN ALREADY!”
Nobody wants that.
So please, help us make this a reality.
And don’t think “man, that’s a good idea. I gotta remember to come back and pledge to this.”
You won’t remember. PLEDGE NOW, PEOPLE. LET’S DO THIS.
Risks and challenges
Obviously there's a big risk that we put this off too long, and then it becomes the Procrastinator's Calendar - 2015. Or 2016.
In order to ward off this possibility, we've been reading angry comments from other Kickstarter projects that have delivered late. And frankly, we're pretty scared of you guys. So that's keeping us in line.
There's also the risk that the Mayans were off by a few years, and the world ends before we can get the calendars shipped out. There's really nothing we can do about that.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
