Funding the Dream is the Kickstarter Podcast covering all aspects for creating a successful Kickstarter campaign

Funding the Dream is the Podcast dedicated to helping Kickstarter projects become successful.

"I see Funding the Dream as required listening for prospective project owners. The show mixes the industry knowledge Richard has with the experience of REAL project owners, both successful and unsuccessful. The result is an entertaining and educational podcast like no other." A.J. Porfirio whose Kickstarter project, If I'm Going Down, funded 177%

This Kickstarter project is for funding the 3rd season of Funding the Dream. During the first two seasons we have covered a lot of material and watched the board game space on Kickstarter grow.

There are so many different things that go into a successful Kickstarter project. Sometimes you can feel that you are all alone as you struggle to bring your dream to life. But you are not alone. That is the reason I started Funding the Dream. It is my desire to help in any way I can. To bring together people with different ideas, skills, background, and experience, and to get them to share that with the rest of us. That makes all of us better as we learn and listen from each other.

"Richard Bliss provides a one of a kind experience with Funding the Dream. High quality presentation, a huge variety of interesting guests, and a short time frame that makes it easy to listen to. Highly recommended for anyone interested in board games, Kickstarter, or entrepreneurship."  Grant Rodiek whose Kickstarter project, Farmageddon, funded 100% in the first 5 days.

I'm asking for your support to allow me to continue to expand the scope of Funding the Dream. Every little bit helps. Each of us has a dream, an idea, a desire to reach out and accomplish something that we are passionate about. I'm passionate about helping others and I'm asking for your support to help me.

"Funding the Dream is a quick and lively listen. Listeners learn more about crowd funding, worthwhile people, and their projects." Chris Kirkman whose Kickstarter project, Carnival, funded 688%

Friends of the Show - Death and Immortality Have a character created and named after you in an upcoming story in Schlock Mercenary. Then have your character die a horrible death. SPECIFIC DETAILS Contributor gets to provide his/her name and, if desired, a photo. Howard will create a character by that name and with a comic-level likeness to said photo, and that character will die towards the end of the second act of "Schlock Mercenary: Random Access Memorabilia." Act II began on January 29th, and will likely run for at least five months, putting the contributor's fictional demise sometime in May or June. The Contributor will receive a sneak-peek at the uncolored line art via email as soon as it is finished, typically three to five weeks in advance of the air date, and a print-resolution TIFF of the final, colored artwork shortly after the strip has aired. LIMITATIONS You must provide YOUR name and written permission. If this is a gift for somebody else, it's not allowed to be a surprise -- they must provide written permission.
