Hi! Any chance you could rebuild the VR demo using Oculus SDK 1.3? It would be really cool to try on the Rift CV1 :). Thanks!
This is incredible. I thought I'd already pledged as much as I could afford, then I played this in VR and had to increase my pledge even further. I'm so impressed you could get this up so quickly, and absolutely cannot wait to see you hit your target!
What VR hardware does this support? I know it's old, but can I dust off my old Oculus DK1?
Can you or will you post the 24-hour livestream on YouTube or Twitch? I know that it would have to be in several segments, but I don't want to miss anything at all.
Cockpit will be in the non-VR version, too.
Descent was my first VR experience. Even back in the mid 90s with a mid 90s era HMD, I was still blown away.
I've been chasing that feeling ever since. Very happy to see Overload's this early implementation and am looking forward to it being refined (and brought to more platforms!).
Just tried it on Oculus and it looks amazing!
As a big fan of the original, I'm so glad to see you commit to VR support. Good look on reaching your target.
I love it! Hard to see your weapon selections in this build, but I know it's all rushed at this phase. I need mooore
As an early DK2 adopter, I truly appreciate this demo. Thank you very much and all the best on the last stretch of the campaign.
I love it !! Woohoo !!! Now that the joystick support is working I can finally play and I love it !
I bought myself two new Thrustmaster T.16000M sticks and it is awesome !
I really hope the funding limit gets achieved, this is the best thing since Descent 2 !!!
Plus the cockpit helps you keep better track of your armor & energy!
Absolutely awesome. You guys know how to hit it.
Aaaargh! I want that cockpit so badly in the regular, non-VR demo! I ALWAYS play Descent with the cockpit enabled, it adds so much to the immersion factor.
Looking great team :)
Someone please post 360 videos so I can experience this vicariously through Cardboard :D
I am not afraid to ask this question: how about simple "archaic" old-school Red-Cyan 3D? Shouldn't be hard to add, I hope? I know, I know... retro, etc. But still can be enjoyed, virtually for free, hardware-vise.
We expect to support all major VR platforms (Vive, Oculus, and PSVR).
Hi guys, will this support the PSVR too?
Mike -- Yes, we will support Vive.
Will you support Vive?
