I see the pre order but i reckon 100 Euros is too much for the PAL Dreamcast version. I was expecting it to be around 60 Euros.

If I were you guys, I would open a PayPal and keep going with this project!!!

Hey guys, when you set up for a relaunch try and get PAX organizers or Gamasutra or Retrogamer (UK) to give a heads up, it'll probably help push it. Let us know when you do, we'll support again!

Its insane that devs are still developing for the dreamcast...that fact alone made me pick a sega dreamcast up. Such a short lived syatem and one that barely was tappee into its potential. Im happy to see devs like yourself strive to develop on the platform. Youre kickstarter has my full support and i hope it gets funded. If by some chance it doesnt i will follow your dream until it becomes a reality. Best of luck to you guys and I look forward to any and all future updates!

    11. Retro Sumus Creator on May 31, 2016

@ dennis: Besides, "widely advertised" usually costs (more) money, so the funding goal should have been higher to cover that too :(

    12. Retro Sumus Creator on May 31, 2016

@ DrLeatherface: I guess we may keep working on it... In our spare time from work. Which means it may take us 5 years instead of 1 to finish it :(

    13. Retro Sumus Creator on May 31, 2016

@ dennis: Guys, seriously. Do you know how many hours we already invested in just that demo? "More realistic" would have been a higher amount, but some of us offered to work on the project almost for free in order to get it funded. Creating hundreds of 3D models for a 15+ year old platform is a tremendously time consuming task... Whether we give that task (and that time) the monetary value it deserves or not :(

    14. Retro Sumus Creator on May 31, 2016

@ Army of Dorkness: Because big collectors and/or PC/3DS indie gamers don't seem to find our project interesting I assume... :/

Army of Dorkness on May 31, 2016

How is this not funded yet?!?!?!

    16. denise on May 30, 2016

@DrLeatherface Personally the goal was way too high for the indie game aiming for the niche market. If it was more realistic sub $50,000 and widely advertised maybe...

    17. DrLeatherface on May 29, 2016

It makes me sad to think this might not get funded. What will happen to the game if it's unsuccessful?

thanks for the answer Retro sumus, about wiiu version (still far, it's a stretch goal) which features could be added ? tv off with game pad ? more ? I'm sure wiiu owners would like the game ! as much as dreamcast owners

I'm hoping to see something directly printed on the metal. But regardless all versions look cool.

promising game ! could it be more fun with a 2 players mode ?

    22. Retro Sumus Creator on May 21, 2016

      @ redrum666: I mean, all of them :)

    23. Retro Sumus Creator on May 21, 2016

      @ redrum666: But of course!

      redrum666 on May 21, 2016

      ok cool

does any of the physical copy of the game come with a physical manual

    25. Retro Sumus Creator on May 21, 2016

@ redrum666: I don't think it has! You can either pledge for the "I want it all" tier, or just add $20 to your current pledge and remind us at the end of the campaign. How about that? :)

    26. Retro Sumus Creator on May 21, 2016

@ Nick: We are still studying what the best option is, but either printed on the metal surface or a big, high-quality vinyl sticker covering most of it :)

    27. Missing avatar

      Nick on May 21, 2016

Is the steelcase cover art planned to be a sticker, slipcover or driectly molded and painted on the metal itself?

      redrum666 on May 21, 2016

hi the LIMITED PAL or METAL CASE edition tier level does not come with a digital copy of the game right if not how much do I need to add to that tier level to get both the METAL CASE edition and a digital copy of the game sorry if this has all ready been asked

If you need help, I can offer to translate a short press release into Japanese. Im not sure how well indie games sell here in Japan, but I have seen some past indie DC games on store shelfs here. Id love to help if you need it. Please let me know if you are interested

When sending out press releases, what languages were they sent out in? Did you have anyone to send out translations in maybe Japanese or Russian?

    37. Retro Sumus Creator on May 15, 2016

@ Jean La Montarde: There IS a mockup of the SE, right under the rewards list, in the main text section. We are working on adding more and improving those anyway. ¡Gracias!

Chui, Fox68k I remember you almost a decade ago bringing wonderful emulators to the DC scene. I had to back-up your project as a "thank you" for all your efforts! Thanks everyone in the retro sumus team and all the backers out there! Let's make it happen!

Sites are starting to post about this kickstarter. I want to see this smash through its goals. Spread the word best you can. Post on Dreamcast sites, Retro gaming sites, 3DS and Wiiu sites, LInux/Mac sites. Indie games on PC are a dime a dozen, so posting on more special interest gaming sites should help. Hopefully we can keep the momentum high!

@Adam Koralik, Glad to see you posting here. You are one of the most powerful voices in Dreamcast social media, do you plan on making a video to help rally the troops?
