You spend one-third of your life in bed. Shouldn’t you be comfortable?
Summer is coming, and we're bracing for the heat.
It’s hard to fall asleep when you’re uncomfortable. Even if you do manage to fall asleep, how often do you wake up sweaty? You’re not well-rested and you're starting your day feeling irritable.
There are some specialty outlets that offer sheets made out of the same performance fabric that your athletic clothes are made of — but they’re not comfortable. They can irritate dry skin, and the manufacturing process pollutes the environment. It also exposes you to chemicals and solvent residue all night long.
It shouldn’t be this hard to get a good night’s sleep. And it doesn’t have to be.
Our bedding is made with 100% Tencel®, which is softer than silk and gets softer with every wash.
The microscopic surfaces of Tencel nanofibrils are smoother than the surfaces of cotton and wool fibers, making it gentler on the skin than other fabrics. It is hypoallergenic and anti-static.
Cooler and Drier Than Cotton
Superior moisture control. Our sheets naturally absorb 50% more excess moisture than cotton and quickly release it into the atmosphere. This rapid moisture-wicking is what makes our sheets so good at cooling you while you sleep — so your skin can regulate body temperature unimpeded.
Antibacterial. This moisture management prevents bacterial growth. Moisture is directly absorbed from the skin and wicked away, rather than lingering on the surface where bacteria grows on other fabrics. As a result, our sheets are naturally hygienic and remain odor-free much longer than cotton.
Tencel is the most environmentally friendly man-made fiber available today.
It’s produced exclusively from the wood pulp of sustainably harvested eucalyptus trees. No chemical pesticides, synthetic fertilizers or genetic manipulation are used, and eucalyptus can be planted on marginal land that couldn’t be used for food crops.
Responsible manufacturing. The unique closed loop process used to produce Tencel ensures that 99.5% of the non-toxic solvents used are recovered and recycled. The tiny amount of remaining emissions is decomposed in biological purification plants.
Easy care and energy efficient. Our sheets are machine washable in cool water. There is no need for environmentally unfriendly fabric softeners or whitening agents, and you’ll use less energy and water thanks to shorter washing machine cycles. The antibacterial nature of Tencel allows for less frequent washes overall.
Biodegradable. Our Tencel sheets are 100% biodegradable in soil by microorganisms and sunshine. The decomposition process doesn't add any pollution to the environment.

Risks and challenges
We've been preparing for this for almost a year. Our production partners are ready to go. We have already produced a small sample run – and some lucky friends are already enjoying them!
Based on our experience, we anticipate being able to fulfill orders within 10-12 weeks, but we know that forecasting demand is an art, not a science. We've built a little buffer into the timeline to ensure we can deliver as promised -- even if order volumes exceed our expectations.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
