For the past 2 years I have been working on creating a concept that could be easy to fold, connect and recycle. I am tired of going to parties carrying bulky, cheaply made tables that cost a ton, weigh a ton and end up getting wrecked anyway. This is why I decided to create the R1, a beerpong table made out of 100% cardboard, oh and its patent pending.

Risks and challenges
Who thinks about making cardboard tables anyway?! Seriously..here are some risks and challenges.
> Manufacturing <
Cardboard is typically used as one thing and one thing only, boxes. Working in the industry alongside great mentors taught me many things about the abundant resource. The complexity and size of each individual piece is a challenge. These are big dielines and complicated to cut, quality control is going to be crucial.
> Water Resistance <
This is hands down the most common question I've received. There are several solutions that need to be tested and I'm confident we will find a cost effective solution granted that several coatings already exist, it simply costs too much for me to do this on my own. This is why I am running an initial Kickstarter, to raise funds and complete the last phase of R&D and finalize a production prototype.
> Demand & Production Costs <
I plan to launch my base model and I'd like to make this as affordable as possible. So far I have been purchasing 1 table at a time and paying to use heavy machinery that costs an arm & two legs. The lesson to be a learned is that cardboard is very affordable if bought in large quantities, so the key to our success is demand and I truly believe people would love this product. I mean who doesn't like playing beerpong and helping the environment?
This is where I ask for YOUR help. Help us spread the word about what we're doing here at Rerak. SHARE today.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
