Frequently Asked Questions
The decks are shipped from Texas. The fulfilment center is Gamblers’ Warehouse and they fulfilled the previous campaign with great packaging and extra protection.
All the US parcels have tracking number that will be communicated via email to each backer at the moment of the shipping.
The international parcels will have tracking number ONLY for the following countries:
Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, Israel, Portugal, Croatia, Estonia, Gibraltar, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta.
The packages with 2 or more bricks will have tracking number as well, to all the countries. The countries not listed above unfortunately do not provide the tracking number service for those prices. The international backers with tracking number will get an email from Gamblers´ warehouse when the package is shipped.Last updated:
No, there won’t be. No.17 Le Chat Rouge is the evolution and the last version of the No.17 series. Over the years I've learned that a product never stops evolving, even though it looks similar to the previous version; just think of the iPhone series, from 2G to 6S. I am not planning to improve this deck "ad vitam", I think I have reached a level of satisfaction with Le Chat Rouge and therefore, decided to print it with nice features.
During the design process, I have to make choices, for example round shape's behind the courts, or rectangular? Well, I like both, but it is a choice and the outcome is quite different. This is the Version 3. The Version 1 was a promotional deck made for CardLauncher (only 500 units) and the Version 2 is the one of my previous kickstarter campaign, Bicycle branded and unbranded.Last updated:
The decks are produced by EPCC in Taiwan, then they will be shipped to Texas, directly to the fulfillment center (Gamblers Warehouse). I will not able to sign decks for the backers because I am based in Stockholm, Sweden. I will get a small quantity here, but the rewards are shipped from the US.Last updated:
The production cost of this deck is very high, therefore I need to print at least 2000 decks. The goal is higher than usual because of this. Only one run will be printed with custom seal and progressive numbering on it. This is a proof of Limited Edition.Last updated:
The campaign is in Swedish Crowns (SEK) and for US backers there will be an automatic and approximate conversion from SEK to USD. The dollar tends to fluctuate and I decided to set the conversion rate at 8.3 SEK for each USD, which is the average of the past 4 weeks.
I monitored the fluctuations myself and I recorded a minimum of 8.17SEK up to 8.5 SEK per 1 USD. This means that the displayed amount in USD (for US backers) can be slightly different every day.
The same conversion rate has been applied for Euro and British Pounds, but unfortunately Kickstarter does not automatically convert the currency to your local currency.
If some kind of economic crisis occurs and the prices of this campaign will be completely off, I will considering cancelling the campaign.Last updated:
Exactly. The uncut sheets are not so popular and I decided to remove them from the kickstarter campaign. When the campaign is over I will open a pre-order page on my website and they can be pre-ordered from there via paypal. If you do not have paypal and you want an uncut sheet, just mail me and we find a solution.Last updated:
