Fossil Hunters is an Action/Adventure game where you build your own dinosaurs using a modular system of interlocking Fossil Blocks.
Find the Fossils you need by exploring your environment and clearing away dirt and rocks. Each Fossil has a number of possible connection points and will snap to another Fossil when they are close together.
Build Fossil Skeletons to complete objectives and unlock new levels and items.
UPDATE: Now coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch! Check out the update for more information!
Our first priority is completing Fossil Hunters and giving our players the best quality fossil-hunting experience possible.
Our original budget accounts for the initial PC and Mac release, with distribution on Steam and Uplay.

You are an Elite Fossil Hunter, about to embark on the most dangerous and mysterious expedition ever attempted... but when you arrive at the dig site it looks like it's been trashed, and the entire team is missing.
An old radio desk is your only form of communication with anyone outside the Dig Site.
A mysterious voice on the other end of the radio known only as "The Collector" claims to represent wealthy investors...
The Collector asks you to find the most outlandish fossil skeletons you can manage, and in return for completing his challenges you will receive rare supplies and unique items to help on your expedition.
The Sandbox is a creative mode where you can experiment freely with countless fossil combinations. Whenever you discover a new Fossil piece it will become available to use in the Sandbox .
We've been working on Fossil Hunters for over a year now. We are finishing the game and releasing early 2018 either way, but we want to make sure everything is "rock solid" when we do. With your help we can properly finish all the features we've started and really make Fossil Hunters as polished, fun and engaging as we know it can be. Here are a few of the things that our Kickstarter funding will help with:
We want to know what you think – Love it? Hate it? We want all the feedback! Use our in-game tools to report bugs you find while playing, or just leave feedback. Join our Discord channel to discuss game design and balance with our team and other backers.
We have a good number of fossils in the game already, but with every new piece we add the combinations of creatures you can build just gets more exciting! It's clear that the more fossils the better, so we want to double the number we currently have, and add additional schematics and objectives to go along with them.
We did a few experiments with procedural generation, but the best results still came from hand crafting each of the levels ourselves. Our plan is to create enough levels, and variations of them, that each play through will be a little different than last time. This process is a lot more work, but we are still going to try to pack in as many cool things as we can for players to find!
More Bug Fixing!
This one is a bit less exciting, but we are really serious about making everything about Fossil Hunters as stable as possible for launch, we might not be able to catch everything but we are going to try!

Risks and challenges
We are a small team, and this is our first game so we’re going through a lot of the growing pains of doing these steps for the first time, including this Kickstarter! We know that there are a huge number of steps in the later stages of launching a game that have a chance of causing expensive delays.
Knowing this we decided that we only wanted to launch our Kickstarter once the project was at a point where we were 100% sure of being able to complete the game.
Another challenge is that we are self-publishing, which means we have full creative control and can decide when and how to launch. It also means we need to do all of our own marketing and PR, and with Fossil Hunters not falling into a traditional genre we need to rely heavily on feedback from backers and play testers.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
