This project will produce a double vinyl album of original songs that have been recorded with phenomenal musicians in a professional recording studio. It is an independent release project, without the financial backing or artistic censoring of a record label corporation
How will it be done? What will the money be used for?
The recording part has already been done and was paid for out of my own savings. We have already spent over $15000 on hiring the recording studio, engineer and musician costs. The funds from the kickstarter project will go towards doing the mixing, mastering, duplication, artwork and postage, as well as paying for the materials and musicians etc. that are needed as part of the donation packages themselves.
In keeping with the high standards of the recording stage, we would like to maintain this standard right through the mastering and pressing stages, and we will keep all donors updated about where the money goes.
How much money is needed to complete the project?
We have set our fundraising goal at $7500. This will help to finish the project. We hope to raise more than this to help get back some of the money already spent on the project, and to fund taking the project further to pay for tours (musician and equipment costs), and promotion (website and music videos etc.). Thank you for your generosity and making this project possible!
