I'm making a brand new album featuring some ridiculously talented folks. I'm hoping you'll be a part of it!
The release is scheduled for February of 2014 which is perfect because I can send some of your singing telegrams around Valentines day :)
This is a true central coast album. The songs were written by Reese in San Luis Obispo, will be recorded at Painted Sky studios in Harmony, CA, and will be produced by Charles Duncan (of Ranchers for Peace fame), a long time Cambrian.
For me, music has always been a way of life. My childhood is filled with memories of my parents singing constantly as they went through their day, absently breaking into harmony on familiar songs, elbow deep in the sink doing the dishes, picking up an old standard that the other had started as they walked through the room.
I grew up at first hating every minute of every piano lesson that I was always underprepared for, then realizing much later how much it shaped the way my brain worked and how it sharpened my understanding of new music. As the younger sister, I always was assigned the harmony part, never the lead, until I came into my own after years at the side of my aunt’s piano, singing jazz standards and show tunes in front of my family.
Today music is the heart and soul of everything I do. Times of great sadness and days of infinite joy have their own distinct soundtrack and I share the story of my life freely through song. This album is my chance to share what I love with those that I love most.
My thanks to you, friends, for making this possible. I am humbled by your support and for all your well wishes. I'm excited to show you what I've got up my sleeve!
Let us share our tales
Our moments of anguish and of triumph
With our faces aglow in the flickering candlelight,
Let us spin stories and sit with each other
Emerging from our sorrows with the unwavering resolve
That tomorrow begins and all is possible with the new day.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk to this project is the timeline. Gathering musicians, recording times, and getting all the collateral associated with this project will be something that I will have to stay on top of to meet the February 2014 release date.
That being said, since this is a labour of love, I'm confident that we'll get your goodies to you and the music in your ears 'ere long!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
