Mini-update: The Spoken Word Achieved! Wallpapers! New tiers!
THE SPOKEN WORD ACHIEVED!
Lovers of dialogue, and French and German fans rejoice! It's been a fantastic day and we've just passed $1,250,000 and our latest stretch goal! WIN!
To show our love and appreciation for your continued support and generosity, we bring wallpapers! Featuring everyone's favourite crow, Crow!
Due to the enormous popularity of our $1,000 tiers, we've added TWO new ones today:
UNREAL WORLD! Become a participant on the biggest reality show of the future! Your name and likeness will be used for in-game video commercials for the show! In addition, you will receive a special Eurotrash listing in the game's credits!
THE PUPPETMASTER! Become a finger puppet in Roper Klacks' popular new puppet-show, THE FINGERINGS! Your name and general likeness will be used to create a finger puppet! In addition, you will receive a special Puppeteered listing in the game's credits!
If Most Wanted was anything to go by, these will disappear fast, and they're both limited to ten pledgers. After all, even Klacks only has ten fingers.
We can't wait to turn some of you guys into reality-show contestants and finger puppets. It's really a win-win scenario!
THE DIRECTOR'S CUT IS NEXT!
And you know we can do it, so help us spread the word in the days to come!
The Director's Cut brings back a number of things we had to cut in order to whittle our budget down, including a couple of locations, some intriguing characters and conversations, a number of smaller scenes and intimate moments, a few puzzles, a bunch of minor story beats, and a hatful of funsies.
This stretch goal, seeing as it is a proper Director's Cut, also includes a commentary track, featuring creative director Ragnar Tørnquist along with other key developers!
Thanks again, everyone! Oh, and remember to check out Torment: Tides of Numenera from the great guys at inXile. They're doing pretty well so far, having passed our total in less than twelve hours, so I'm not sure they need our help -- but the game is definitely worth a look-see regardless!
Onwards & upwards, for another few days!
