Like the previous questioners, is it too late to add a tshirt?
so.... when do you plan on starting sending out the t-shirts? I hope it can be done before game release...
I wonder that also...is it too late to add a shirt?
Am I too late to get one of the Tshirts by adding 25 (+10$) to my pledge ?
Any update on whether these are the European or American sizes for the shirts?
@kJones 2, thank you very much for your answer :)
@Flint Sky thanks, but I already knew that. =)
@Nativeguide you are correct, that is exactly what I meant! However, even knowing that, I may just add the $35 to my extra $7 instead anyway. The $7 was my approximation of the "dream traveller" tag that many people have added (I didn't want to pay 0.13 so I just went with 7 instead of 6.13). Somehow using that towards my shirt seems weird.
Thanks for clarifying =) I wish I could afford one of the $1000 tiers.. but the best one is already gone.
@ Mary Fleet
Yes. No matter what is your pledge. You must pay for the first t-shirt 25(t-shirt)+10(shipping).
@Mary Fleet If I understand what your saying, you have already pledged $7 over your base pledge + shipping then you should only up your amount by $28 if your wanting one t-shirt.
for example: your pledge tier is $250 and you've added $20 for shipping. You're total pledge amount is
T-shirts are $35 for one shirt since you have already pledged $7 over the minimum amount for your tier you will only need to up your amount by $28.
I hope that helped.
I'm just asking, if anyone can clarify, I would be very appreciative. I just wanted to be sure.
so to get a shirt, even if I have already pledged $7 over my base pledge + shipping for my reward, I would still have to add $35 to get a t-shirt?
@ Vicenç no worries. The production cost of the tshirt is in the 5-10$ range, so 15-20$ goes to game development. It's no different from DVDs, physical books, the USB keys or what have you: part of the pledge is reward cost and part is game funding.
Good night everybody! :) I have an observation/question to make... maybe it has been asked before...
I have seen that the T-shirts add-on has pushed the amount pledged up quite fast this last two days (or at least is what it seems because the growth was lower the past days)... well the point of this observation is that now the total amount is growing faster but it's not directly because of the game and it's not money for the game but for the t-shirts making then, despite the fact that some achievements have been reached this money it's not available exclusivelly for what the goal explains. It's not a little "tricky"/"risky" for you "Red Threads guys"? :)
I'm not sure if I've been clear. My english is not as good as I would desire :)
I don't know if it would be possible, but had an idea that would be awesome! As the t-shirts will be for sale later on, it would be cool if the first batch, for backers only, had BACKER or PLEDGER on the back ^^
@Matt Clemson Unfortunately you need to pay additional postage for the T-shirts as they're coming from a different location (China) compaired to the physical rewards
@Mandy You can add T shirts if you are already pledging at any reward teir of $20 or above. Just click on 'Manage Your Pledge' and add the extra amount+postage to your total. Leave your tier selection as it is (unless you wish to upgrade this at the same time).
Re uploading your art I imagine that's because the deadline for the competition was yesterday unfortunately :( I'm sure I safely speak for all of us when I say we'd love to see your artwork, if you don't mind posting a link in the main comments section or forums when they go up. Who knows, perhaps there may be a way for latecomer artwork to find it's way to Emma's gallery ...
@Christine They said around update 4 or 5 that the cloth maps will be included with physical tiers $500 and above. I asume they forgot to add it to the chart. A paper map will also be included for those tiers
@Matthias Stoitner Thanks very much ! :)
popcorngal: 1 paper map on the wall, 1 paper map in the safe behind the Mona Lisa.
@Christine - Dream Traveller
Don't know if they were added on since you posted, but both the paper and the cloth map are listed on the spreadsheet. I agree about the popularity of the maps... I'm totally looking forward to getting the cloth one!
@ZikFat: Why keep things obscure, when you can help promote the game? Tiny part, but still. :)
The black Balance T-Shirt rulez!!
Like the designs. I believe I will have to up my pledge to get a shirt or two.
Is there any chance we can get an option for a shirt without anything on the back? I like to keep things obscure :)
@RTG: Love the t-shirt designs! I just upped my pledge to order 3 of them: 2 loremasters (one is for my husband), and 1 balance -- all of them black. And as Valentina mentioned, yes, we're definitely going to want/need actual measurements for these shirts before people can figure out which exact sizes they need.
@RTG: hope that when you have more info we can also get some measurements for the t-shirts so I can see if I should have an S or an XS :) and I second the question about customs: any way these could be shipped from Europe?
See, I would have thought anyone who had pledged $200 or $500 already would be eligible to receive at least ONE T-Shirt without having to add additional cost (except possibly worldwide delivery).
Doesn't bother me, but I just thought some of the higher tiers would have got ONE shirt automatically.
Anyway, don't care. I'm getting a black Loremaster shirt, because that looks awesome. :)
I didn't see the Cloth maps on the spreadsheet. Were they missed? Also on your graphics on the front page where you show what's in each tier you don't show the maps at all. They actually seem to be a popular item (at least in the comments section) you might want to think about adding them so people who like that kind of thing might see it and upgrade. Just an idea, I know time is limited now, but you never know.
If everyone buys at least 1 shirt we should break 2 m.
Yea! So excited. I really like the look of the symbol on the white shirt (just so worried I'll get stains all over it) So I might order both in black. Who knows.
Thanks for considering larger sizes too... kinda goes with the food stain thing... :(
I'd love one of those t-shirts, but since they're shipped from China, it would cost me *a lot* more than $35 (customs, VAT). So my question is, once the Kickstarter is over and you start selling them "regularly", will they be shipped from within Scandinavia or the EU?
I am confused, do I have to order the t-shirt now or do I order it later? Because it already has tshirt thingies on our stuff, so I'm a bit confused now... D8
If we're already paying for international shipping for a physical tier, does that affect the shipping for the t-shirt, or is it entirely independent?
@RTG: There will still be plenty of sadness and drama when we move on to the forums, you can be sure of that. Those like me, who were less than amused by your "pay-for-your-extra-content", will probably watch you closely to make sure you don't take extra steps in becoming "Unnamed Big Evil Publishers". You said, in the previous thread, that you aren't. Perhaps, not now. I sincerely hope it stays that way.
I can't load my fan art :'(
Im a bit confused. iv only got the 75$ pledge .......can I still add on money to go towards tshirt ?
I'm .so excited for this game it is by far my favourite and the best game I have plaeyed. I must have played utterly 100 times both dreafall and tlj (I ended up with three copies )
from story line. visually. the scriptwork the music the artwork it's the best and I can't wait to see how you make it even better
@RTG:"More lore" Oh my!How lovely! "More pictures" Ok.This,i was expecting.Makes sense."More background material" ?? "Not more instructions"Thank God for that!
I'm not such a hardcore gamer as others but i've played quite a few games and never heard of an expanded manual before.Maybe i'm just too ignorant...Whatever.Thanks for replying.
Will the soundtrack be offered in FLAC format? I'm OK with at 320kbs MP3, but I love original audio quality!
@Jamil Ismaili here it is :-)
(Dreamfall Chapters fan art competition links)
@thelj: More lore, more pictures, more background material. Not more instructions.
Valentina/Kelsey -- sometimes I think a T-shirt looks better turned around, but that doesn't bother me, just end up wearing them "backwards" sometimes ;)
(Not always intentionally either, mind you... definitely not a morning person here)
Could someone please explain what does expanded manual mean? That it contains pictures and concept art that the digital one doesn't?
@mjau: We are going to print a test run and see how things look, so there might still be some minor tweaks to colours before we start the final production run. We want to wear these tees as well, so rest assured that we're going to make them as AWESOME as possible.
@RTG what kind of women's tshirts will you be printing on? Fitted, low neck or traditional / non-stretchy? This has a huuuge impact to how likely I am to wear it. As much as I love Dreamfall and the tshirt designs, there's not much point in buying the tshirts if I don't wear them because the cut makes me look like a 10yo girl :-) Fitted, boat-neck or v-neck FTW!
@Fritjof Have no fear you can be sure RTG are aware of that interesting discussion- they read EVERYTHING ;P
The physical boxes aren't mentioned in this rewards chart it seems :/
All that is mentioned are the digital copies. Boxed editions seem not to be.
@RTG Any issue with shipping to Canada? Even though it sucks shipping to Canada lol
@RTG: Will the T-shirts also be shipped from within Europe, for the European backers?

Already tweeted you this, but I think the Loremaster would look better on gray! It makes both the darks and brights stand out more. Look: http://i.imgur.com/vVbuCXh.jpg
@spacebug: Correct. One T-shirt is $35.
@Ben Colijn: Another good question! I don't actually know if these are U.S. or European sizes. We will update everyone when we know more. Remember that you can always change your selected size later on, before we start shipping them out. And that's at the very least 4-6 weeks from now.
