Made from a customized blend of merino wool, each item in our collection is feature complete for cycling. They are super soft, durable, moisture-wicking and anti-odor so that you are comfortable at all times. And they are styled so you'll want to wear them on and off the bike.
What is merino wool? And why is it so awesome?
Breathable in summer. Insulating in winter. All the while exceptionally soft and lightweight. The fleece of a merino sheep is built for all-weather and comfort.
Water Resistant Pocket
We have created a water resistant pocket to allow cyclists to sweat and ride in the rain without worrying about ruining their water phobic valuables.
Stitching that is durable, flattering, and prevents chafing or any type of seam line discomfort.
Stay safe on the road with reflective accents.
The racerback lightweight jersey is ideal for warm weather rides. The athletic, flattering fit in combination with the merino blend (moisture-wicking, anti-stink material) provide the freedom to move and sweat through miles upon miles while keeping you cool and comfortable. Available in both red and black color options.
The Hammer-T provides a bit more coverage than the racerback, but is still lightweight and breathable. It is ideal for spring, summer, and fall. It uses a mid weight merino blend (moisture-wicking, anti-stink material) to keep you cool when you are climbing and your core warm on the descent. Available in both red and black color options.
The Long Sleeve is part of our San Francisco inspired cycling kit. It uses a mid weight merino blend (moisture-wicking, anti-stink material) to keep you cool when you are climbing and warm on the descent, while providing UV protection (for those unassuming foggy days). Available in both red and black color options.
The Commute Jacket integrates functional cycling features into a super comfortable, stylish jacket. It uses a surprisingly breathable, heavyweight merino blend (moisture-wicking, anti-stink material) to keep you warm on the commute to and from work. It is also styled to fit business casual standards, so you don’t have to bring an extra set of clothes for the office.

We are creating our products with an unbelievable natural fiber blending genius. George runs a factory two hours north of Shanghai and has turned his love of science and creative innovation into a business. We are stoked to be problem solving and designing high quality products with him.
Redfrog Athletics was created after a life changing 5,000 mile adventure across the United States on two wheels. Early on in the trip, Jaimee had two key realizations:
1) She LOVED cycling.
2) She strongly disliked women's cycling wear.
Jaimee used the entire cross country bike trip as one big extreme user study: asking questions and listening to every cyclist she met in order to better understand the needs of female cyclists on and off the bike. By the time she arrived in New York, she had two notebooks full of user insights and the beginnings of some product sketches. She returned home to California and sketched out an entire line of merino wool cycling clothing.
She used these sketches to start prototyping and testing to finalize the design and fit with the goal of creating cycling wear that would empower and motivate women to get on their freedom machines (the bicycle).

We would love your help spreading the word about Redfrog. We see all the posts and they mean a lot to us!

Risks and challenges
Supply Chain Risks
We have spent the summer and fall traveling to and from our manufacturers and suppliers to nail down the materials, patterns and turn around time for each of our SKU's. Of course, there are always risks involved with manufacturing clothing (our supplier might slip a deadline or the flatlock sewing machines might break down), but we are in excellent communication with our manufacturing team and feel confident that we will be able to work around these possible glitches to deliver an excellent product to keep everyone happy.
