Frequently Asked Questions
Legally we can’t mark a parcel coming from our business to a consumer as a gift or promotional materials with no value, so we must declare a value.
The value we will declare is the total amount of your pledge for product. The value we list on the import document will itemize shipping charges. As an example, if you order a Core Set for $100.00 plus a dragon for $15.00 and add $37.50 onto your pledge for shipping your total pledge would be $152.50. We would declare the value of your shipment as $115.00 and itemized shipping at $37.50.Last updated:
You will be responsible for any and all customs, taxes, VAT, duties, and fees on your end. That is out of our control, and we will not mark any shipment in any way that is inconsistent with international law.
Please review your local laws, make sure your address is correct in our “Pledge Calculator” so we know where to ship your stuff. Oh, it also helps to always be nice to your local post people.Last updated:

This Bones Kickstarter is designed to produce both existing and new miniatures in plastic. The models that are pictured in the Kickstarter are the models you will receive in Bones plastic.Last updated:

When we begin fulfillment of this new KS we will create a retail store rack package based and discounted on the KS results.
If you choose to actually pledge and back this new KS it will be as a consumer. Your items will ship bulk just, same as the consumers.
In other words these ARE NOT packaged for resale.Last updated:
Green items are part of the Core Set Pledge and the Core Set grows as the Core Set stretch goal are met.
Red items are buy-in, add-ons that you must add more to your pledge to get. More buy-in options are revealed as their stretch goals are met.
The other colors items are a $50 add-on that grows like the Core Set, but has it's own stretch goals independent of the Core Set and not included in the Core Set. Nor, will the Core Set have the Expansions' miniatures added to it.Last updated:
Our Pledge Calculator is for all backers!
The ONLY information Kickstarter provides to us about you is your:
1) Kickstarter User Name
2) Email Address
3) Pledge Level
4) Pledge Amount
Filling out our Pledge Calculator gives us both your mailing address and tells us how to apply your Pledge dollars. Please understand that even if all you select is a 2017 Core Set level and nothing else, we still need you to fill the Pledge Calculator so we have your information!
The data on our website is not linked in anyway to Kickstarter's data! We use the email address you provided in the Pledge Calculator to sync together with Kickstarter's data when the project ends. That's why it's important to use the same email address for our Pledge Calculator as you did for registering with Kickstarter.Last updated:

Yes, but DO NOT change levels or you will lose your place in the shipping wave, just pledge more dollars.
We recommend pledging in the Kickstarter as much as you can because the more you put in the more it helps unlock goals for everyone, but do what you can when you can. You will be able to add to your pledge after the fact for several months as well using our Pledge Manager website.Last updated:
It will only increase if you add any extras beyond the Core Set to your rewards.Last updated:
Sept 2, the Kickstarter project will close. Kickstarter will charge your card whatever your pledge amount is at that time.
7 days later, anybody that had their credit card declined will have a second attempt, and anybody that still declined is removed from the project.
About 1 week after that, Kickstarter will give us a "Backer report." This report includes your email address, pledge level, and how much you paid. We will then import that data into the pledge manager. From that moment on, when you login, the database will check your login email address against the email addresses Kickstarter gave us, and credit your account the amount Kickstarter says you paid. Starting then, you have the ability to lock in items, spending your initial credit and adding additional funds. Each time you "check out", you will either use your credit (until spent), or have to pay additional funds. Our system adds all orders together and calculates postage from the sum, not new on each order, so you are not penalized for multiple small orders (one big package is cheaper to ship than many small packages, and we do that math for you). There is no limit to how many times you can check out.
July 31, 2018, we will lock the Pledge Manager down, and you cannot check out any more. Every backer must use the Pledge Manager to give us their list of rewards, and their shipping address.
If your Pledge Manager account email and Kickstarter account email are not the same, you may have problems, and should contact us to have the email addresses reconciled.Last updated:
