A series of five films set entirely underwater exploring our oceans like never before!!
A series of five films set entirely underwater exploring our oceans like never before!!
1,128 backers pledged $101,610 to help bring this project to life.

Success!! But how far can we go?!

It has been an amazing Christmas for everyone here at Realm and a Boxing Day we will never forget!! Thank you all for making this project a success, it is a dream come true. As you'll have probably noticed people are still donating, an incredible testament to other people's belief in this project, so rather than sit back and relax we are pushing even harder. If we can reach $80,000 by New Years Day, at midnight GMT, we can film the final part of the series in 3D, no independent film has ever done this before!! This would very quickly make this the most unique film project currently in production and cause the world to really take notice! So for one last time we are asking for your help, to continue the support you have shown and encourage others to get involved and ensure we are all part of something truly incredible!

We are going to be live streaming the last 24 hours of the campaign so come along and tune in for the moment we make history!!

Why not donate it to some sort of program or cause instead of filming in 3D? I know my entertainment is far less important than the lives of other people and beings, and the safety of our waters and environment.

Thanks guys. I am really excited for you. I have had my video students follow the UWR this semester and they are getting a lot out of it. I appreciate your in depth updates and enthusiasm for your work. Looking forward to the final products. Congrats!

Juhani, well said. 3D is a tool. Use it well and it will add to your film. Make it the focus of the movie and of course the story will drop out. I would advise, or request, that you don't put 3D in the title.

Well, lets face it, there are so much bad movies in 3D that it's easy to understand that people hate it. In the end it is just same as some special effect. Use it correctly you create something amazing. Specially underwater it helps a lot as the human eye compensates the particles as in scuba diving. So if it is amazing to watch in 2D it will be even better in 3D. I have total trust with these guys and girls.

I totally support you guys but I'm definitely AGAINST 3D... Hopefully your film will be an exception to the rule.

I should think so, don't quote me on it but I'm pretty sure we can!!

You sure deserve it, I love shooting 3d underwater. Can we get 3D videos into Blu Ray disc if you get into 80000$?

Of course there will also be a 2D version available!

I understand the sentiment completely - but when I first saw UNDERWATER 3D it blew my mind. There is something about being visually immersed in the image that just makes the water 'exist' instead of just looking like blue air.

Trust me - it will be amazing!
