Last Days: Necrosis (Canceled)
'Last Days: Necrosis' is an apocalyptic, survival, RPG game set in New Hampshire. Save or Enslave anyone you meet. What will you do?
Last Days: Necrosis is a remaster/sequel to the game Last Days which was unfortunately not able to be completed.
Last Days: Necrosis is going to be a fully completed game with the upgraded mechanics but still staying true to the original Last Days. I know that the first game had left a lot of people disappointed and the game even gained some traction from the press before it's cancellation.
Last Days: Necrosis is a survival-horror, zombie, rpg game set in apocalyptic New Hampshire, USA. Every choice ultimately leads to a different path for every quest and the game's goal is to be very flexible to the player's playstyle. Find other survivors while scavenging and you have to choice to save or enslave each and every one. Will you run your community as a peaceful, level headed person? Or would you rather rule as a tyrant and take over other outposts? That's all up to you to decide. You'll need to scavange for food so your community will stay alive and docile to you.
How will you lead your outpost?
What I plan to achieve with this Kickstarter is the funds in order to take the idea of the original Last Days, improve it significantly, and flesh out characters, story, and quests more than the first game could.
So Where's my Money Going?
The money earned off this Kickstarter will be used to...
- Hire programmers to create custom scripts.
- Hire artists to make custom scenes and promo images.
- Hire musicians to make an original soundtrack.
- Hire voice actors to make the characters more memorable.
- Market the game properly.
I hope that you all will help contribute to this so that you can get the game you deserved in the first place. All the money will be used to better the product. The price is so steep because I want to hire very talented artists, and then whatever is left over, I'll use to make multiple ports of the game (Windows, Linux, Mac, Mobile, ect.) and sometimes ports are expensive. Hiring voice actors will take quite a bit of that money as well. Rest assured, you're donations will be used to make a quality product.
Risks and challenges
This is a one-man project so it may take some time in order to make this product one that you'll all enjoy. So really that's the only challenge that I can see. The game just may take a bit, considering at the time that I made this Kickstarter, I haven't even started the project yet. I hope you understand.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
