Launch event

We are ready to launch.

7–9pm, Thursday 17th May 2012

ICA Gallery
The Mall
London SW1Y 5AH

Dress code?
To kill

Guests of honour?
Each and every one of you

All welcome?
Of course, please bring friends, associates and conspirators

Students from the Critical Writing MA course at RCA will be giving a reading of Kensington Gore, a novel-in-progress on the deadliest road in London. Blood shall drip from the walls. We will then toast the publication, long may it rest in peace, and spill into the bar to mourn its dear parting.

We understand many of our kind backers are based abroad, but we hope you will be there in spirit.

This is our last update so we'd like to say one final, sincere and heartfelt thank you for your support.

Today is proof reading day.

We've been here since 8:30am, that is very early for students. Croissant and coffee fuelled arguments about Oxford commas and compound modifiers are rife already. The editorial team have had their first glimpse of the cover design and the design team are taking a nap. Seriously.

Thank you for getting us this far, we can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel, a premonition of birth or a near-death experience? We will all soon find out.

The End is Nigh

We have reached our target.

Arc 16 is definitely happening, we are delighted. Thank you every one of you for making this possible.

We will be in touch a few days after the end of the campaign to collect email and postal addresses. The magazine goes to the printers a fortnight after that, all going well. Do make sure you have included postage costs in your pledge where relevant as we'll be mailing them out the moment they're delivered so Kickstarter backers receive their copy long before Arc 16 is available in the shops.

Also this weekend, we have published an interview with Robin Tarbet – Dismantle, Dissect, Explore – by Dora Mentzel on our website.

There are still 5 editions of Robin's print, Monitored Landscape (2006), available for $280 each on Kickstarter.

Thank you again for your support, see you on the other side.
