RETRO GAMING SCOTLAND POSTERS
At R-CADE we love retro gaming, and we love Japanese culture, so we wanted to fuse the two together and share the best of both with like minded people. With this in mind we set out to create the perfect venue where the two worlds collide in perfect harmony.
R-CADE is situated on Saltmarket in Glasgow, and is the number one hang out for nostalgic gaming nerds, families, and anyone who just likes to unwind with a good game and some banter.
Since our official opening day in January, we have had such great feedback from everyone who has visited our store, and the support we have received from our fans has brought a wee tear to our eyes. We are a very small, independent family business who live and breathe R-CADE. We don't just have a passion for gaming, we are also involved in the arts and crafts community. We hold craft workshops, art gallery exhibitions and constantly strive to promote and support local artists. Coming from an arts background, we have a large portfolio of graphic designs we plan to unleash on the world in the form of T-shirts, posters and other merchandise, and here we are!
Welcome To Level 2:
Following the success of our previous Kickstarter we are now ready to move on to the next level! We wanted to mix our love of retro gaming with our proud Scottish background, so we decided to reimagine our country's map as our favourite games.
We have designed four unique high quality A1 posters, each with a unique identity.
- The Super Mario Scotland Map is a re-imagining of the land inhabited by the world's favourite plumber.
- The Pac Map takes the well known neon blue of everyone's beloved ghost gobbler and twists it into a working maze.
- The Legend of Scotland Map transports viewers to a sprawling detailed island with caves, enemies, and treasures galore.
- The PokeMap Scotland takes inspiration from a simple yet recognisable town map filled with pocket monsters (and even suggests a few Scottish ones too).
