Our demo is really short (around 6-10 minutes) because the game is planned to be short, this is why we did not want to reveal the plot that much.
Still, by playing it you will get in touch with the ambience we try to create. (Some things already changed after that demo dated from 1 week when i'm writing this, especially with the graphics as the video, title screen, etc).
Perfect Murder is a mystery/crime visual novel in which you are going to play a young student in a Japanese highschool who murdered someone, and will try to make the best choices to make it impossible for others to come up to you in terms of finding the killer.
We aim to do a relatively short game for our first game, as we want to put realistic goals. You would need around 6 to 8 hours to complete the game entierely (meaning with all the different endings and routes).
Perfect Murder is planned to be out Q4 2019 - Q2 2020 on Steam (7-10€) than later on 2020 on Android/iOs.
We are using Tyranobuilder for this first game, making the development a bit easier and faster than with Ren'Py or other softwares that I'm not used to yet.

This is our first game, and we need a bit of support to help us release this one, in particular to get it on stores and to advertise it as well. The writing process is a key one for us, with a second ready process by a native english speaker, especially on a visual novel and even more on a mystery/murder story, that's why we want to hardly focus on it, and get paid for writing it properly, as backgrounds and BGM/SFX aren't paid ones.
Also, we are student in University, this is why we would like to pay ourselves with this Kickstarter on Wtriting/Programming/Characters' arts to work on it full time on the summer break and evenings/week end when uni is starting back (for one of us, the second one would be able to focus only on the game).

We are a couple of student in biocomputing in France, one of us end it on the summer, the other one got free time until the release predicted.

Risks and challenges
Delays can be longer than I expect maybe, even if I feel confident about the Q4 2019 delay.
