Catgirl's Questlist is everything we love made into one game: an isekai with yuri romance, half RPG and half visual novel.
Vera, the player character, is a charm witch with an everlasting love for all things of beauty, and an even bigger love for women. Catgirls, elves or humans... she doesn't discriminate.
After her fateful meeting with the catgirl Téa, who claims to come from another world and to actually be a human, Vera decides to join forces with her and form a guild. That allows Téa to play dictator, and gives Vera the opportunity to meet cute girls and frolic around, discovering things about the world she could have never imagined before.
Help Vera romance one of the main girls and delve into their shared nights with an optional, free H-patch. Some say there is even a harem route hidden among the various choices...
Catgirl's Questlist is a full-fledged RPG with exploration, combat and a focus on questing. You'll be able to influence the life of recurring characters, and see the outcome of your choices reflected in the various storylines.
Important story moments are presented in visual novel-style with beautiful sprites and CGs. A traditional choice system augments the quest system: tasks can be failed, and the quest givers will remember that...
Vera, the player character, would keep a rose in her mouth, if that didn't making sweet-talking women--or simply talking--difficult. She has always wanted to be an adventurer, and doesn't mind long walks on the beach if there's a cute girl at the finish line. She likes to name her spells, but doesn't shout "Forbidden Bind!" or "Dangerous Lips!" in battle. Yet.
Téa claims to come from London. She was supposed to take a state exam to become a real estate agent when, somehow, she found herself at the feet of the Elder Tree. She would sell all the knowledge she has about the speed of light and other sciency things... if only she remembered the fine details.
Reniel is one of the Ostmoor Elves. She will pet all the dogs. She will squeal at every cat. Giant monsters with sharp horns and bloodshot eyes? She thinks they're cute. She can't control her magic very well, and in order to wield it she gives it the shape of either a shield or a sword. She always makes the best of what she has.
Sunny takes her oath seriously, and despite what you may want, she will heal you. Sure, her mixtures might sting, or burn like scalding water, or taste like pure, unfiltered lemon juice... but they're healthy. She's passionate about alchemy, but her work history is a big question mark, and she doesn't like to answer the many questions that come up about it.
Lyra comes to your aid in the capital. Her words are blunt, yet her eyes betray a certain fondness for Vera. Who is she, and why does her name sound familiar..?
Each girl has unique skills, strengths and setbacks. Enjoy the challenge of the combat-focused difficulty, or sit back and focus on the story.
And no, losing a battle won't have boars violate you. Relax ;)
Vera's weapons? Her curves! She is a balanced character with excellent damage and support capabilities. Her attacks can charm enemies and make them lose actions!
Reniel's way to harness magic is to channel it into a sword or shield. In Avenger stance, she's a powerhouse held back by her own recklessness; in Bastion, she becomes the party's shield and can absorb insane punishment.
Sunny's a gifted alchemist who can turn herbs and animal ingredients into powerful concoctions that heal allies, hurt enemies and place debuffs on them. The only one with access to elemental damage, she's kept in check by the resources she needs.
She's the only one who can equip Skill jewels and heal allies outside of combat.
Explore a lush world, gather herbs, talk to the townsfolk for hints, complete quests and get loot! The world of Morpheya is meticulously written: NPCs will have new dialogue every day, and Vera's own questlist is filled to the brim with her cheeky personality.
The demo of Catgirl's Questlist features:

- Full-fledged RPG with questing, exploration and combat
- VN-style story progression with auto-saving and skipping functions
- More than 15 quests and optional content
- The first bonding event for each girl, Lyra included!
- A cliffhanger that will keep you on the edge of your seat
Get it on Steam!
Here are sneak peeks of some CGs present in the demo, and a taste of one of the many that will be completed thanks to the Kickstarter campaign!
In Reniel's first bonding event, Vera tucks the hair of the elf behind her ear, whispering sweet things...
Vera knows how to rile up the girls just with her words... ask Sunny for proof.
Vera's skilled ropework, Forbidden Bind, makes a certain catgirl go crazy...
This scene is exclusive to the H-patch, so we had to sweeten it a bit with some ice cream.
We asked the talented Laynesis to redraw one of the maps. Here's the Elder Tree map in all its glory. Like it? Help us reach the first stretch goal to make all maps like this one!
Do you love the art for the girls? So do we. While the designs are our original creations, the art itself is commissioned. Due to the sheer amount of CGs (both SFW and NSFW) and sprite art for NPCs, we defaulted to crowdfunding.
We self-funded our debut game, Snowed IN, and that was a big limitation on what we could do with it. We came to the conclusion that we need more funding to make our games exactly as we want them to be.
Everything that we can't do in-house we either commission or buy, so the costs add up pretty quickly. Help us make Catgirl's Questlist a reality!
We added physical rewards! Check out this table to know what gets you what!
The physical rewards will be shipped from the EU.
Here's a sample of Vera's dakimakura cover. Check out this update for bigger, more detailed shots!
To thank the community for their efforts, we launched Community Goals! Read more about them here:
All the money will be used for commissions, save for taxes and fees. Some of the design rewards require sprites and battlers; those are counted under 'Kickstarter rewards'.
The 'sprite & CG art' slice covers new sprite poses for the main girls, sprites for important NPCs and of course, roughly 30 CGs. At least half of them will be either suggestive or a bit more than just suggestive.
The 'taxes and fees' slice is rather sizeable, and we want to be fully transparent with you: we're estimating a 10% Kickstarter fee, and 21% VAT on pledges from the EU. We rounded the number down to 20% in total, since we know that not every backer comes from there.
Rascal's strengths lie in writing, character design and making unreasonable requests like stance-switching for Reniel. Somehow, it all works out. His best waifu changes every day.
Bandit is a closeted catgirl lover, and the one who insisted on having a catgirl in the game. He's also the main programmer and the mastermind behind the combat. Blame him if you get stuck on the puzzles (there will be puzzles).
Risks and challenges
We came up with the Kickstarter goal after some careful budgeting, so we're confident that we will be able to deliver the game as we intended if we reach it.
We estimate completion around Jan 2020 but we know that delays might happen. We plan to release monthly Kickstarter updates and bi-monthly public updates to be proactive and transparent about the progress.
As stated in the 'Cost breakdown' section, we outsource assets; that, of course, is a risk in itself. We can mitigate slow asset production by splitting the workload and assigning it to different artists.
