Each page has been specifically designed to help you reach your maximum potential. My belief is that with a strong, healthy and fit mind you can be successful mentally, physically, at work or at home. However you choose to live your life, the Calming Planner can help you organise, prioritise and succeed at any part of your day.
Yes! The Calming Planner is your all in one wellbeing planner, suitable for anyone who cares about their mind and body. And the great thing is, you don't have to be feeling low or negative to use it. Like anything in life we are constantly growing and developing, and it's important that we maintain our healthy positive habits.

Day Planner (Undated & Customisable)
Each day of the planner has been specifically designed to feel calm and relaxing. The scheduling part of the page is divided into 3 parts; work, body and mind. This allows you to visually keep track of whether your days are balanced. Each page has daily health tips, space for you to list your top priority items and your positive affirmation for the day.
Weekly Review & Thought Tracker
Throughout my journey I have found that if you are working towards a goal, whether it be mental or physical, it is important to check in and see how your progress is going and what you can do next. That is why at the end of every week you have the opportunity to revise your goal progress and keep your momentum going. There are also some questions, which encourage you to reflect upon the different aspects of your life that contribute to your balance. The Calming Planner also includes a CBT section (cognitive behaviour therapy) where you can track your negative thought patterns, identify triggers and create positive resolutions.
Monthly Planner, Overview and Brainstorm
The beginning of each month begins with a brainstorming space. This space allows you to explore and expand on your ideas. There are also monthly tips, stretches, healthy drinks, mindfulness exercises and environmental tips. The Monthly Overview has been designed to simultaneously be used as a weekly overview, by aligning each week from Monday to Sunday.
Goal Setting Guides & Progress Tracker
Creating goals is a healthy habit. That is why the Calming Planner Goal Setting page is broken down into 3 easy to follow stages. These stages walk you through the breakdown of a goal and show you how you can reach your goal by your due date. There is also a brainstorming area and some tips and tricks that will help you create powerful and successful goals.
Wellbeing Tips & Tricks
Throughout the Calming Planner there are lots of wellbeing tips and tricks. These little gems are to inspire you to keep up your positive lifestyle and to encourage you to try new healthy foods, drinks and activities. There are also inspiring quotes and affirmations to help you feel motivated and positive.
The Rescue Remedy is specifically designed to give you a mental escape route. It is a short step-by-step guide to follow when you're in a bad headspace. There is also a section for you to create your very own remedies.
Sleep is so incredibly important for the mind, but it is easy to take it for granted if you don’t realise the effects it's having on you. Bad sleeping habits can increase stress, irritability, anxiety and depression. That is why the Calming Planner has a Sleep Tracker, so that you can keep an eye on your sleeping habits.
Exercise is a vital part of being happy. Whether you are training for a marathon or trying to encourage yourself to go for a walk everyday, the Fitness Planner is designed to help you reach your goals quickly and safely.
Food is an amazing gift from nature, however not all food is good for our body. The Nutrition Planner helps you identify your problem foods, your favourite foods and your essential foods, and encourages you to find balance between them. As well as track the way certain foods make you feel or react.

That’s why the Calming Planner gives you the opportunity to take control of your thoughts and emotions by identifying triggers, solutions and habits. As well as helping you develop methods to stop the darkness before it sets in.

That is why I have designed the Calming Planner to breakdown your day visually, so that at a glance you can see what you're missing.
I want to refine my eating habits: The Calming Planner helps you create and track your nutrition goals and allows you keep a log of your habits so that you can begin to identify the aspects you need to balance out.
I want to balance my life: You can take control of your life! No matter what your dream is, you can find success through finding balance. The Calming Planner is your one stop shop for taking care of your life and creating a positive healthy future for your work, your mind and your body.

5 Years ago I had my first panic attack, I soon found out that I had developed an anxiety disorder. Since then I have been working on ways to find balance in my life. From working with various mental health professionals I've learnt how important it is to establish balance between the different aspects of your life. During this time I was being handed out handfuls of worksheets to take home and use, as well as being prescribed all sorts of medication. However, I continually lost all the papers and was too embarrassed to pull out these sheets in public. I also didn’t want to use medication as ‘a band-aid’ for my problems. That’s when I decided to take things into my own hands and pursue Industrial Design. It is here that I have found my place in the world, designing to help others.
I wanted to create a place where I could use all these useful tools discretely. A place where I could monitor my day, my mind and my body and easily notice when I was neglecting one. I also wanted to be reminded to read my positive affirmations, keep track of my goals and improve my negative thinking habits. That’s when the Calming Planner was born! The all-in-one wellbeing planner that anyone could use, not just those suffering from anxiety or depression. One of the most important things I have learnt is that anyone can suffer mentally, and it doesn’t take long for everything to cloud over. That is why it is important for you to establish and maintain balance in your life before it becomes a problem. That way, you can become more productive, more successful and live a happier, more positive life.
Risks and challenges
Even though I have already sourced manufactures and organised shipping, there is always a chance that something could happen during the process. With a larger demand comes an increased chance of challenges, and there could potentially be some unexpected delays with shipping. However, I do not want this to be a stressful process for you so I have factored this into the delivery time and design. If there are any unexpected issues along the way, I will absolutely be honest with my backers. Your happiness is my priority. If you have any problems I will be more than happy to talk about a resolution with you.
However, one major challenge I have found with the project was trying not to lose balance in my own life. Working long 17 hour days, usually 7 days a week during the build-up to the campaign meant there was a lot of strain on my mind. I tired to focus on exercising and meditating every day. I really felt the difference on the days that I let my routine slip and failed to go for a run or a workout. Exercises + meditation a day, keeps the doctor away!
