RAIL GUN is the first gun controller that you equip onto an Air Soft Gun, giving you a truly realistic and immersive experience for FPS Games. With patented FR™ (Fast Rotation) Technology, you can turn 180 or 360 degrees intuitively by looking quickly left or right. No awkward motions such as turning the controller on its side or pressing a button to turn-around.

- Attaching to any standard Air Soft Gun, you get the real sense of shooting a gun while playing an FPS game. Feel the recoil and hear the rat-tat-tat of your gun going off as you play.
- FR™(Fast Rotation) Technology tracks your vision based on the pointing direction of your gun. Turn 180 or 360 degrees intuitively without the need for awkward and unnecessary motions that can make aiming more difficult. FR™ Technology tracks RAIL GUN even when it is pointed outside of the screen.
- An imbedded algorithm enhances aiming precision by minimizing hand trembling motions. Sensitivity can be controlled manually to account for user skill level and each game’s varying sensitivity levels.
- Set-up is incredibly simple with a plug & play USB drive. RAIL GUN charges via a micro 5 pin USB in one hour, and fully charged you can play for 9 straight hours.
Here is a breakdown of RAIL GUN's components. RAIL GUN consists of a Main Unit, Jog Unit, Weapon Unit, Trigger Unit and USB Unit. Set-up is as simple as attaching it onto the rails of your Air soft gun:
Every button you find on a PC or console game controller is just as intuitive and responsive on RAIL GUN. Movement, aiming, shooting, jumping, crouching, auxiliary weapon etc. are all accounted for. Button configuration is fully customizable by the user via the "Settings" page, but below you will find the standard button lay-out.
YS Won , PhD., UzBrainnet’s CEO, is a huge fan of FPS games and Air soft guns. His love of both led him to imagine what it would be like to play FPS games with the “real” gun feel of Air soft guns. All of the gun controllers on the market seemed too much like toys and often were frustratingly inexact in aim tracking. To remedy these issues, UzBrainnet began development of RAIL GUN. After years of development and countless hours playing through games like Call of Duty and Destiny using RAIL GUN, UzBrainnet finally created a device that, as an FPS fan, was precisely what he wanted in a gun controller. With its patented technology, UzBrainnet was awarded the Minister of Education of the Government Award in Republic of Korea. (November 26th 2015)
Risks and challenges
The most critical problem in railgun development was fine-tuning the 360 degrees rotation in the virtual game area. If the user turned the gun 180 degree in real life, they would not be able to see the screen thereby inhibiting their enjoyment of the game. We had to develop a way that the user could turn in virtual space without turning around in reality, all while keeping motions intuitive and natural. This is the main problem that occurs when the game is played without a virtual reality headset (e.g. Oculus Rift).
The goal was to develop a gun controller for truly realistic FPS game-play, and losing the game screen from sight was the biggest obstacle. To overcome this major problem, years of testing and developing led us to fine-tune an algorithm which eventually became FR(Fast Rotation), a RAIL GUN patented technology.
After this technology was developed, UzBrainnet put it to extensive testing to ensure that all of the motions playing an FPS game felt natural. After hours of playing just about every popular FPS on the market, we are confident that FR technology works great. However, in the manufacturing stage, we want to be sure that every rail gun that goes out has the same intuitive feels as the modules we are testing on. This mass production stage can pose some challenges, but we are confident that with our patented technology will pass the test.

RAIL GUN can be used with PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3.
When used with desktops or laptops, additional adaptors or driver installation is unnecessary. Simply plug in the USB unit and begin playing.
For video game consoles such as Playstation or Xbox, an adaptor called CronusMAX is required. Setting up CronusMAX is simple and we've included a step-by-step instruction video link below:

RAIL GUN allows the gamer to choose the Air gun that they wish to play with.
To connect RAIL GUN's main/jog/weapon units, 3 rails are needed, and most Air soft guns on the market have 3 or even 4 rail surfaces. Rails also can be applied to most model guns based on international rail standards.
The trigger unit is strapped and fastened in between the grip and trigger and therefore doesn't require a rail.
There are a few Air soft gun designs where the gap between the trigger and the trigger guard is too wide, thereby preventing the trigger from hitting the shooting button. For guns such as this, you can press on the shooting button directly for more in-game responsiveness.
