      Hello there,
Thank you for the critique. As I'm sure you've read, this game is partly targeted at gamers who are newer to the RPG genre whose main knowledge may come from the pop culture of D&D. However, some elements of Raids lean more towards games such as Fate, the Age system, Doctor Who Roleplaying Game, and even abstract systems like Dread.
But I understand that each gamer has their own specific tastes, so thank you for taking the time to message me, and I hope you find the game you're after out there

I wanted to offer some constructive criticism. One of the reasons I chose not to support this was that, when you described how this was "different from other RPGs," it seemed like the only other RPG you've played was D&D or closely related systems.

There are many existing RPGs that have you improve traits instead of leveling up, many with no classes where you build whatever you want, many in which you actively roll to defend, and so on. (And yes, many for which /everything/ you mentioned as a difference is true.) So when you implied that these are things that set Raids apart from other roleplaying systems, it made me concerned about your breadth of experience with RPGs.
