      @Steven - Yessir! We will have one before too much longer. Just getting back into the swing of things after the new year and we have a few more things we would like to wrap up before posting another update. We always have updates in the back of our mind but just want to be sure we have enough content worthy of an update. Much of what we have been doing isn't terribly exciting so it makes updates feel lackluster.

      @Brent - Thanks so much! I'm glad someone with Linux is playing the game (or trying to) because we haven't been able to try it yet. Sorry you aren't able to play it though.

      When I originally backed this project, I think I asked for a PS4 copy. I do not own a PS4 anymore. Would it be possible to received a steam key instead

      @Tiso - We are going to post a new update very soon. It won't include a release date but we are hoping to include a nice surprise.

      I know I've been telling you for a while that we are going to get to requesting assets from you and the other backers that have their likeness in game, and it hasn't happened yet. Its just a matter of when it becomes a priority to our lead artist. I always feel like we are very close to that point but more and more things come up! He has been spending the vast majority of his time working with our environment contractors to keep them busy. its paying off big time but its extremely time consuming for him. That said, I hope to make it a priority after we complete this current goal we are working on.

      We would love to release on Switch, but we have to fulfill our obligations with Sony first. After that, the sky's the limit!

      Hey any updates on the release and custom character content? I wanted to be current since my look (which I'm bald) is the only change I'm interested in. Everything else from what I wanted to wear is still fine. Also as always looking forward to the release.

      Hopefully a Switch release sometime after?

      Thanks for the offer, but the only thing I really wanted was access to the alpha and for you guys to take another crack at getting that RTD promo hat into Team Fortress 2 when it comes time for the game's release (as we discussed July 5th 2016). If you look back through the comments you'll see that I have been one of the backers that have been understanding and encouraging. I'd say that most of the backers have been. But in my experience with past Kickstarter projects that have had major delays, backers stop becoming understanding when you finally have content/products to release but only give it to a select few. Maybe I'm wrong and the 1,491 out of 1,616 backers won't be upset that they won't have access when content is finally available, and will remain understanding and encouraging. I guess time will tell.

      @Evan - I don't want anyone to be upset at all. There are a few that are frustrated at how long it has taken us but the overwhelming majority have been very understanding and encouraging because we have done our best to keep everyone updated along the way.

      Only 125 of your 1,616 backers pledged for Alpha Access. Those 125 backers also got additional rewards along with access to the Alpha like skins, concept art, tshirts, and custom characters. With the extras they got and with how long we've all been waiting, I doubt there will be much complaining if you gave everyone access. And even if some of them do complain, is it better to have 125 backers slightly upset that they didn't get exclusive early access, or have 1,491 backers upset that you continue to make them wait, even with the release of content?

      @Evan - While that is a nice idea and we would like to make everyone happy, I don't think the backers that paid extra to get Alpha access would be very happy about that.

      Sorry you are feeling frustration. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to put you at ease. We are doing our best to get the game out as soon as possible.

      This Kickstarter campaign ended over three years ago and the estimated delivery of the game was over two years ago. At this point, don't you think you should give ALL backers access to the Alpha when you release it?

      @Ian - We want the next update to be the announcement of the backer Alpha and we still have a couple of more weeks to go before that's ready. We are only posting updates when there is significant progress or news to share. From my experience its counterproductive to have frequent updates without much substance. Hope you agree with that! Always happy to answer questions here if anyone ever doubts that we are still alive. :)

      @redrum666 - We still plan to support the Vita, but will not be able to concentrate on the port until the port for the PS4 and PC versions are complete.

      @Andrei - Fun ideas! I like the idea of Ray having a pet, but I think Ray already has enough companions following him around!

      I will definitely be putting in memorials to some important aspects of my life. Thanks for the comment.

      Ray's the Cecil from the dead inside the game. Let us have one pet companion with us)) Or at least make a memorial tombstone for Cecil, in some peaceful quiet area. Whoever of RAGTAG team is the owner of the dog - you owe it to him.

      @Albert - We would love nothing more than to release RTD on the Switch, and there has been mutual interest from both team RTD and Nintendo. No matter what we do, we have to release on PC and PS4 first, as we have a short exclusivity agreement with Sony. After that, if the game sells well enough to justify releasing on other platforms, we will be very happy to do so.

      BTW, we will be posting another update in the next few days to show what we've been up to. Thanks everyone!

      So, last I heard, this game was only going to be available on PC and Playstation. When the game was first announced, I was super happy that it was coming to PS4. Now, though, this game has taken so long, I was actually thinking the other day how awesome it would be for this game to come out on the Nintendo Switch. It seems like an awesome on-the-go type game!! Just, you know... throwing that out there. :-P

      @Tiso - Yes sir! We will be at Unite the first week of November, PSX the first week of December. We will not (officially) be at PAX South, though I may attend because I live very close to it. We will also be at PAX East.

      It would be awesome to meet you, and any other backers in person at one of these shows!

      I'm definitely all about the inclusion process of seeing it before hand. I can't wait. It's actually one of the last games I've backed that should have myself in it and this has been the one I've been looking forward to the most.
