Raging Pandas is a fast, frantic, funny, and highly competitive card game filled with boodilicious pandas and terrified food cards. Players draw cards with the hope of getting a pair of matching food cards and try to gobble up five food pairs to win! Sounds easy, right? Not so fast! Other hungry Pandas are doing whatever it takes to get YOUR food and the game gets more intense each round as players use their defense and attack panda cards to block or steal food from other players. Rare specialty panda cards will either be your best friend or worst enemy when they join in the fight. This constant battle between furry friends means the tables can turn extremely fast and anyone can come out on top.
We’re so excited to share this awesome game with you all, and we would love your input! We want all of our backers to be a part of this game, so please don’t hesitate to give us your recommendations in the comments. Especially any suggestions for Panda characters and their abilities, since we’ll be creating Kickstarter exclusive cards and expansion packs.
If you love fun group games, hilarious art, and awesome pandas with outrageous superpowers chomping on terrified food this is the game for you! Please help us make this game a reality and be a part of the rapidly growing RAGING PANDAS community!

WOW thank you, everyone! We met our $20,000 stretch goal! That means, as promised, we're incorporating 20 Fortune Cookie cards into the Raging Pandas deck.
At the start of the game, each player will get a random "fortune" cookie card that will give them a bonus if they make their fortune come true. For example, your fortune could require you to have 3 attack pandas in your hand at the end of the game. If you do, you might be able to barely beat someone who has laid down their food cards first.
Fortune cookie cards add a fun extra layer of strategy and give one last fingers-crossed chance to the underdogs...er...underPandas of the game.
With great panda power comes great responsibility...
We (obviously) love pandas and now that Raging Pandas is taking off we've been thinking about how we can use our game to help save REAL PANDAS.
Up until very recently, the giant panda was an endangered species and they still aren't quite out of the woods yet (no pun intended). The last official estimate found that there were only 1,864 giant pandas left in the wild.
Each Raging Pandas box will contain a nifty red envelope full of educational cards with real panda facts. We're also brainstorming other ways we can use our new platform to create initiatives and raise awareness in order to do as much good as possible for our giant panda friends. If you have any ideas of your own, please share them with us in the comments!
The idea for Raging Pandas started with us being tired of not doing what we love! While in school and pursuing various business ventures we came to a realization...it would be a ton of fun to create something that others can play together and have a blast with! That's when it hit us...we love card games...we're creative...we should make a hilariously fun game for families and friends to enjoy together. And so it began...
Having zero artistic ability ourselves, we reached out to our friend Luke Wyssmann to do our artwork. We gave him a rough vision of our panda characters and without missing a beat he was able to make our ideas come to life!
From a portly panda riding a chicken to a cute but extremely gassy one, we realized that each of our characters was going to have its own hilarious personality and backstory.
We’re looking forward to bringing friends and family of all ages together to build relationships, laugh uncontrollably, and have a great time! Our panda kingdom will keep growing, but we need your help!
Risks and challenges
We’re first-time game creators but we’ve already put in TONS of hours of research on creating, shipping, and fulfillment for our game. Our main goal is to provide the best experience for our backers and to deliver on our rewards and stretch goals in a timely manner.
The biggest foreseeable risks, like with most other projects manufactured overseas, are delays in production, shipping, and customs.
Raging Pandas is basically all done (about 95%) and has been played by many people to help us create the best Panda card game in the world! We will be finishing up on our expansion packs and making sure the game is in tip-top shape. We said that you will be expecting the game in November 2019, but if everything goes smoothly you will be seeing the game towards the end of the summer.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
