The Sabertooth is the ultimate beer drinker's tool.
There was no single tool that performed every essential function a beer drinker needs.
The Sabertooth performs every function a beer drinker would ever need. We made the Sabertooth insanely easy to use for both opening bottles and shotgunning beers. We also added a can tab opener and a can top piercing feature. We didn't stop there; the Sabertooth comes in two different versions, all while still fitting on your keychain.
1. Easy bottle opening.
2. Make the perfect hole to shotgun from, with zero spill or spray.
3. Make any can a punch top can for better beer flow.
4. Easy tab opener, to save your fingers from opening too many beers.
Better Keychain Hole Placement:
The Sabertooth is unlike anything on the market today. It is the ultimate beer opening device. We made some radical changes from the original Beer Tusk:
60% smaller profile compared to the original Intuitive bottle opening.
The simplest shotgunning platform that requires no technique, for no spray with a perfect hole.
A can top piercer, so that now every can is a punch top.
Anodized aluminum, offering you the ability to choose a colored Sabertooth that lasts longer.
- Ergonomic design for easier handling and comfort in your pocket.
- A better placed keychain hole.
The Sabertooth Raw: The most basic Sabertooth, made from aluminum. We leave this version completely raw just like the original. In college on a budget? This is the Sabertooth for you.
The Sabertooth Hard: This Sabertooth is made from aluminum and comes with an added level of anodized protection. Choose from four radical colors: Red, Blue, Black and Gold. Have a few extra dollars to spend? Add some color to your Sabertooth.
When we first developed the original Beer Tusk, we were broke college students with basic design skills, but nonetheless a desire to change how you shotgun a beer. The original tusk was the best we could produce at the time, but we still weren't able to successfully deliver the ultimate Beer Drinkers Tool.
We knew we needed to add some serious firepower to get exactly the beer tusk we originally envisioned. So we enlisted two great engineers from UCLA, Elliot Plant and Daniel Kurek-- two experts in the field, having worked at Tesla and MakerBot.
We first compiled the feedback from the first Beer Tusk and started brainstorming as a team, how we could make these changes. Smaller profile, better bottle opening, more ergonomic, and more aesthetically pleasing. After some long nights and a few debates, Daniel and Elliot created 8 different models that would solve the problems that the first Beer Tusk had not.
This time, we had access to a 3D printer, which saved us a boatload of $s during the prototyping phase.
We tested them out and found a model that we knew worked best. Then went back to the drawing board and produced small changes to make it even better. Three more iterations later, we knew our team had created something really special.
Lastly, we created aluminum prototypes and tested the product with multiples focus groups. After three months of testing, we knew we created something special.

Our entire team is incredibly proud of the Sabertooth and we can't wait to share it with you.
Why We Need You:
We need a large upfront investment to place an order with our manufacturer. We also want to continue to CNC the Sabertooth in the United States, so deliver the highest quality product. This is expensive though. So please share this with your friends, families, clubs, fraternities, sororities and secret orders, so that we can get these bad boys made.
Want to write a radical story about the Sabertooth? We would love that, so here are some high resolution pictures you can use:
Who Is Raging Mammoth?Raging Mammoth was founded by two College buddies who drank one too many beers together and realized that we could make a business around our passion. We like to have a good time and want to make your good times that much better. Raging Mammoth believes life’s too short, and that good times should never end.
Risks and challenges
Last year we launched the Beer Tusk and delivered 95% of orders on time. Only 10 percent of kickstarters can say this!
This time around, we are even more confident. When we launched our first kickstarter we were two college students who had no idea what we were doing. We still cant believe it actually worked out.
After a year in business, we have partnered with some awesome fulfillment companies and manufacturers. We are very confident that our delivery estimates will be met on time.
With that said, there are always risks involved with a Kickstarter campaign. At this point our biggest risk is a zombie apocalypse.
So don't worry, because your Sabertooths might as well already be on their way!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
