Bringing Kromore to the RPG world has been a long 7 year process. With professional Indesign layout, artists, writers, and editors we are now very ready to present the game to the players of Earth.
As a small company we don't have the capability of launching without the communities help. We want everyone to enjoy Kromore as much as we do and this Kickstarter allows us to print and ship texts where we otherwise would only be able to share the books in PDF format. Everything is printed in Color for all editions and rewards.
Kromore brings gamers a setting and system that opens the door for multi-era gameplay, time travel, expansive terrain exploration, political and social role play situations, and of course endless combat.
Our 350 page book gives players and GM's everything they need to run and play countless adventures in Kromore. We have already begun work on the next massive Kromore expansion Enemies & Engines to give gamers more monsters and vehicles along with several multi level campaign modules. We have also begun talks with the fine folks at Roll20 for custom Kromore campaign Modules. None of these additional works will be available if we don't raise enough for Kromore so please help us meet our goal and in exchange we'll give you some great rewards.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS
Kromore's current timeline spans ten thousand years. Any of these times are available and all of them include expansive maps and setting information. We know gaming groups like the feel of a living world and we've done just that by giving them a place where their early era campaigns can directly impact their later era ones. If you like time travel you're in luck, Kromore is just the game you are looking for as everything is balanced and seamless between eras including gear and weapons.
There are so many different locations to explore amid the universe of Kromore that you'll most likely never run out of setting material.
The magnitude of options during character creation and character progression are huge. With 22 distinctly different class/professions characters can mix and match for endless unique builds. We've tried hundreds and still manage to come up with new exciting favorites daily.
Along with the always unique character progressions the world of Kromore offers massive amounts of customization to Armor, Weapons, and Gear. Every item in Kromore is available to scavenge, craft, and repair. Each era also has their own unique types of weapons and armor. Players in Kromore have the opportunity to not only build a character that they have always wanted, but they'll feel unique and epic doing so.
"MAGIC THAT JUST WORKS"
We've been told a lot by testers that our magic system "Just Works." We have to agree and the reason it works is balance, ease of use, and availability to just about anyone willing to build into it. Anyone can play a magic user, wear heavy armor, and wield a great sword if they choose. Magic is cast as a skill and additional magical spells are picked up through professions and abilities. Magic is cast at any time and only requires the player to pass 1 Focus skill check to cast it. The more you put into magic the more it gives back, but then this is the goal of Kromore. What you put into your character rewards that character with greatness.
We are promoting our first large Kromore adventure module, Tears of the Fallen, but we know storytellers and GM's often create their own stories and adventures for their groups. We've included over 150 pages of setting content specifically to enhance the storytelling and adventure creation of Kromore for game groups. (BTW don't forget the other 200 pages of the book as well) Players will find additional background information about their races, cities, and the setting of Kromore in general, but most importantly GM's have Monster creation, XP, and Loot Table charts available to them for customization. If you haven't figured out already, giving you the keys to Kromore is what we are all about.
We are lucky to have art from artists like Christopher Balaskas, featured in many of the images on this Kickstarter. Some of his Kromore images you might recognize from art critique magazines, blogs, forums, and websites. Kromore is bigger than many realize and has been in the works for quite a long time. There are many artists featured in the Kromore books and many waiting in the wings to begin work on their next Kromore project. When we meet our goals these talented artists start creating more Kromore imagery to add to the countless world already unfolding. The bigger the backing support, the more we can hire talent to create new content for endless adventures.
CRUNCH vs. NON-CRUNCH
Kromore gives players countless options and because of this at times involve elements of Crunch. Crunch is a slang word given in RPG games to describe mechanics that involve adding, subtraction, and overall simple math. A Non-Crunch game is typically very rules lite and open to rules interpretations. Kromore has specific rules to keep games balanced and fair while keeping games strategic, fast, and interesting. We rate Kromore on the low Crunch spectrum of the gaming world for new and experienced players alike.

Bringing Kromore to physical life requires funds and support from a large community of gamers across the globe and getting Kromore into the hands of the upper echelon of gamers is the best way to get Kromore notice. Kickstarter not only allows myself, the creator, to raise the funds required to print all the great Kromore material, but it increases the quality of art, writing, editing, and production value of an already great book. The more this project raises, the more you as backers can get from Kromore. The cost of printing, distribution, shipping, art, editing, layout, kickstarter fees, credit card fees, and legal expenses are why Kickstarter is the only available option. Risks and challenges
Managing this complex process and minimizing delays are the largest challenges we face in bringing RAEX GAMES ©KROMORE to distribution. We have learned from past experience that success requires careful planning and organization. In order to facilitate the timely delivery of your Kromore rewards we ask you respond to our survey within two weeks of the closing of our project. This allows us to organize with distributors the quickest and most secure way to get you your rewards.
To help ensure realistic deadlines, we have completed the vast majority of game design, writing, and layout before launching the Kickstarter.
Any delay and we can assure you, you will be the first to know! If we do delay we will be providing additional rewards in your packages! Because some of the materials are shipped together we will only be sending pledge shipments as a bulk order and not in individual parts. Based on shipping this could increase your reward arrival time in some areas. We will do our best to keep this in a timely fashion and keep backers up to date of our production timeline as we move forward.
