Why you need this
Your body is amazing. As you work out in the gym or compete in your favorite sport, your body does incredible things to reach its maximum performance--veins expand, metabolism increases, muscles swell, and your body radiates warmth. You are an extraordinary machine. But all of this helpful information goes lost because we can only see what is happening on the outside of your body--until now. We have dedicated the past three years to the research and development of the Radiate shirt. Starting out with nothing more than a bare idea and an insatiable curiosity, we first began experimenting with scrap fabric, dying prototype shirts in spaghetti pots on our stove top at home. Coming a long way from there, we now operate small, professional dying equipment and have perfected the formula for our thermochromic inks and dyes. We then matched that formula with the ideal fabric and an incredibly innovative stitching pattern.
But we need your help to make the Radiate shirt available.
We have been making our shirts in small batches, causing our production costs to run extremely high. Right now the Radiate shirt costs $91 to make, but with your pledge, we can offer you our Radiate shirt for only $35 each.
We have everything lined up in America for our Kickstarter order to be produced. We just have to surpass our goal of $30,000 to make the numbers work. Please help us to bring the best athletic shirt to you and your friends.

We are very hopeful that our Kickstarter community will come together to bring Radiate beyond its initial goal of $30,000. We thought it would be fun if we could make special items available as our campaign reaches milestones. After all, Radiate is all about being interactive, and we have a few items that we would be able to produce once we have secured a certain additional sum of pledges. So far to date, we have completed several small batches of shirts that have been worn by professional athletes, CrossFitters, MMA fighters, and people from just about every walk of life. The Radiate shirt has been perfected, receiving stellar feedback. We have multiple channels of production in America, the founders personally see the shirts through each stage of manufacturing, and there is nothing more important to Radiate than making sure that supporters receive a product that exceeds their expectation.

Yes, you can purchase multiple amounts of the same package(s). Currently, the only way to back multiple orders of the same pledge is to back one pledge in particular, and then manually include more money in that pledge (enough additional money to cover the additional orders you are placing).

The Radiate shirt is extremely durable and is engineered to surpass even the most grueling training or all-out competition. Our apparel's color-changing technology will not fade through general use as intended. However, we recommend that you turn the garment inside-out before washing and wash your garment in cold water, drying on a low heat setting. This will preserve the garment's longevity for years to come.

This campaign is your only chance to experience Radiate's technology before Spring 2014, at the earliest. While we are open to being carried by retailers at some point, we currently have no plans to sell in any major retail store. Instead, our top priority is to make sure that our Kickstarter supporters have the chance to wear and enjoy our Radiate apparel immediately--at a substantially lower price than what retailers may sell Radiate apparel for.
It's premature for us to speculate on what prices retail stores may offer in the future, but we know that you will be saving tremendously by purchasing Radiate apparel through this KickStarter campaign. Not to mention you will be the first in the world to own our technology.

We are happy to accommodate orders of any size.
Five (5) or fewer shirts do not require additional S+H. Six (6) to ten (10) shirts require $5 additional S+H. After that, it is just an additional $5 per increment of ten (10) additional shirts. If you would like to order 75 or more shirts, please contact us for our S+H pricing.

The only difference aside from costs, are the shipping dates. The $25 pledge is the "Early Adopter" pledge and will be shipped in July 2013 and the $35 pledge which is the "The Radiate Shirt" pledge will be shipped during August.

Yes, the technology will work even in extreme heat environments.
When you receive the order survey after the KickStarter Campaign ends you will have the option to select the temperature range in which you will be working out in. Most people will choose the 60-75 degrees environment, but if you reside and train in extreme heat you can choose the higher temperature setting which is 75 + Degrees.

It does not matter if you are extremely muscular for the shirt to work. You will see a color change because your body will produce the same heat at the point of exertion, no matter if you're extremely muscular/fit or if you are a novice in the gym or sport of choice. The best part of the Radiate shirt is that you essentially compete with yourself and the Radiate shirt. A great example is that I started lifting and training hardcore at the same time I began the R&D process of Radiate and when I worked hard I saw the shirt change color, and now that my body is where I want it to be I still have to work just as hard to see the same color-change. So your muscle mass doesn't matter, just the effort you put towards for sporting activity. Also make sure you order a size that will be a snug fit. The shirt needs to be in contact with your skin to recognize your body's temperature and thus change color when you exert yourself. The Radiate shirt is extremely motivating!!

We understand that you can't select more than 1 pledge. To overcome this obstacle and to make sure you can buy the shirts that you want, you are allowed to add the price of the other shirts or items that you want to your existing pledge. This means if you have already pledged for an item and you would like another item, you can add on the price of that item to your current pledge price. The only restrictions are the "Early Adopter" pledges. If you are not an "Early Adopter" than you can't get those items at that price.
Selecting Size and Color is Easy: At the end of the campaign we will send out an order survey in which you can choose how many shirts in each color, size and sleeve length you intended to order. As long as your pledge amount is equal to the price per shirt listed X quantity we will accommodate you even if you want a limited edition or Kickstarter edition shirt.
