Why PANTONE colors?
Pantone is a standardized color matching system. By standardizing colors, different manufacturers in different locations can all refer to one system, and color remains true whether on screen, paper, fabric, etc.
Not just for designers and artists, using the Pantone system gives us thousands of colors to choose from. As any dog owner knows, color choices for dog collars are pretty limited. Imagine being able to choose exactly your favorite shade of your favorite color!
The goal
I want to be able to offer dog collars under $30, in at least 100 Pantone colors. In order to do this, I need your help! Each collar needs a buckle, triglide, d-ring, nylon webbing, and grosgrain ribbon. In order to buy enough materials to get things started, I need to raise $1,000.
Any funds over the initial $1,000 will be donated to the developing nonprofit spared.org.
The collars
Each collar is sturdy but lightweight, adjustable, and handmade in my California apartment. They're so lightweight, I'll ship them to you for free! :]

Sizes
1" width
Small: 10-15"
Medium: 12-18"
Large: 14-21"

Colors
The proposed PANTONE palette. I have each ribbon swatch ready to order! Colors are currently being matched with the myPANTONE app from Pantone. My future goal is to have ribbon custom-dyed to specific Pantone colors instead of matching them after the fact.. but for now, these matches are as close as I could get them!

The Kickstarter edition collar
Just for Kickstarter, the two best shades of green, side by side. At a lowered price!

Any donation, large or small, helps me get started! Thank you!!
