Official Release Date - August 2014

Hello Kickstarters -

We wanted to share with you our excitement that we have just finalized our distribution arrangement with Cinema Libre Studio here in Los Angeles. Cinema Libre is a great group of people and from their website (http://www.cinemalibrestudio.com) you can see that they put out some incredible films that share a similar ethos as In Between Songs. We look forward to pushing the film out publicly into the world along with their support. Collectively, we will work together to push our doc out into the world and with the proper grass-roots marketing, we will try to create some buzz for this story.

So this is what we’ve been waiting for!

The DVD is set to release in August 2014 and the VOD (video on demand) will follow shortly after. Cinema Libre will be selling the film worldwide and hopefully it will hit cable outlets worldwide! We are culling through our material to compile a nice cross-section of deleted scenes and other special features to be included on the hard copy DVD. We are also contemplating a special collector’s Blu-Ray version if there’s interest.

We will send out all of Kickstarter rewards upon the film’s release in August, and I will be allowing access to watch the whole film online again in the next couple of weeks for a limited time.

Almost There

Hello Kickstarters ~

So many exciting updates to report!

Last week, our team flew to Chicago to record Academy and Emmy Award nominated actor and activist, James Cromwell. James is best known for his performances in Babe, W., The Artist and LA Confidential among countless other films and television shows.

James has been a supporter of the film for over 8 years now and for him to lend his talents to this project is an honor. He is well-versed in indigenous culture and issues and huge asset to the film.

You can read about James work here: (www.imdb.com/name/nm0000342/)

Greg White (www.tangerinedreams.tv) and In Between Songs cinematographer, August Thurmer and I have been busy color timing the film and making the picture look amazing. Gabe Serrano (www.imdb.com/name/nm1575731/), our talented sound designer has been dialing in the sound design as well, getting it all juiced up. Also, Cory Shaw of Buildestroy (www.buildestroy.com) came through with juicy animations for the lower third titles, map animations and a gorgeous opening title animation.

Basically, the look and sound of the film is being elevated to new heights and we can't wait to share it with you. There are just a few remaining details to finish on our end, so stay tuned.
