About

 Roundtable Con 2020

Roundtable Con returns April 24-26 2020 in Sharon PA with three days of tabletop gaming including board games, role playing, collectible card games and miniatures.

Roleplaying

Immerse yourself in role playing: Pathfinder, D&D, Mutants & Masterminds, Call of Cthulhu, and Savage Worlds. Special Guest Norm Hensley and his team of GMs will host  our Savage Saturday Night featuring the fast, furious fun of Savage Worlds.

Special Guest Andy Hopp has offered to run a special game of "Low Life", a setting for Savage Worlds. There are only 6 seats at the table, so get your "Low Lifer" pledge level today to join this one-of-a-kind gaming experience.

Risks and challenges

2020 will mark Roundtable Con's second convention. We learned a lot from our first con, but we are still young. In 2018 we had less than 100, and we hope to attract 400 attendees in 2020.

In 2018, our friends from long-running CharCon attended and gave us terrific feedback and advice. We've also engaged con veterans like Andy Hopp, Heather Kreiter and Norm Hensley (who are our special guests this year!) to make this the best con possible. (btw, if we screw up, it's our fault, not any of these wonderful people.)

The venue is booked. Special guests, GCGL, and entertainment have all committed. Dates have been deconflicted as much as possible with holidays and other events of interest to our gaming community.

We are doing everything we can to attract diverse and interesting vendors, but many vendors look for both larger and longer-established cons.

That being said, as with all events scheduled at a specific time and place, there is a non-zero chance something will happen to prevent or interfere with the running of the convention or with some or all parties from attending as planned.

To help mitigate risks, we are in regular communication with all critical parties and have our eyes wide open to any new risks or challenges that may pop up.
