Are you ready to try Holobunnies? OF COURSE YOU ARE!
Hello Holobunnies' friends!
If you're having a wonderful day, or an amazingly boring day, prepare yourself because it's about to become a magical one in the next few seconds. After presenting Holobunnies at PAX East 2015, where wonderful people seemed to have amazing fun, wanted to break controllers, laughed and cried, we can finally share it with you. The demo is available! Be ready for some challenging (prepare extra, backup controllers) and rewarding (it really does feel great) Holobunnies experience!
While still being in what we call pre-alpha, this demo is literally the beginning of the game, when a volcano wakes up on your planet and forces you to leave. For now, it's only available for Windows, because we have some controllers problem on Mac/Linux, that we're going to fix as soon as possible, and then release the builds!
You will need a Xbox controller to play it. If you're not that familiar with finding controls yourself, we prepared a little sheet of them:
We suggest you send us your thoughts and comments and achievements and everything you experienced while playing the demo, we can't wait to read what you think about it! If you finish the powder quest, tell us what result you got... ;)
Next Holobunnies Update...
On the next Holobunnies update, we're going to elaborate on a mechanic not present in the demo, but very important in the final game, the voice and emotion system. There is a bit of information on the project page, but we're preparing this update to go more in-depth!
Also don't forget to share the campaign anywhere you can think of, the more people see us, the more chance we have at reaching the goal and smashing some stretch goals :D
There are other projects live at the moment on Kickstarter, and some of them kindly shared Holobunnies in their updates. Since they offered some visibility, we agreed to feature them in here too, because a little help is always welcome, so here they are!
Enjoy the demo and your life in general, until next time, thanks!
