@Jordan: Sunday works best for the team, but we will try to push those later in the day by a couple of hours, so more viewers can join in.
Sculptor tiers will have their own unique looking sprites, and yeah, random NPCs will have more variety. This is very early alpha right now, so what you are seeing is not the final game.
Actually, I have a second question I realized I should have asked first. Will random NPCs be given more diverse sprites in the future, or will the final game have the player pass the same shirtless dude three times on the way from medicine alley to the black market.
So... these updates are pretty much always going to be a Sunday thing, aren't they? Oh well, I'll watch the recap and ask any questions I have here.
Speaking of questions, I have one. Not a major one, but whatever. I noticed that there were some common sprites used for NPCs. Will the NPCs purchased with the sculptor tier have their own unique sprite, or will they use one of the common sprites for a character of their class?
"Pre-alpah," I think, is one thing to keep in mind.
The game doesn't look alive for now. Not much animation and dynamics. NPC seems to be frozen in place and nothing happens. But if this is pre-alpha - then everything is fine. :)
Also movement of the main character doesn't look realistic.
The game art and graphics looks not bad... but I expected more. :(
The graphics are too simple and unsaturated - that's the main problem.
