@Michael: That is a poster image, the game will not look *exactly* like that. However, the painterly style is similar to the in-game art style.
@Josh Yeah when I first backed this a few weeks ago the graphics left something to be desired but they've totally overhauled and improved them a lot since then.
Is that picture actually what the game art is going to look like? It's gorgeous.
Very nice. That's a lovely painting, really like the brushwork. Music's sounding good!
Josh: People have odd aesthetic tastes. I'm always amazed how so many of these Kickstarter projects look absolutely gorgeously amazing to me, and yet people make any number of odd comments about it. Don't know what people are looking for, but if they got what they wanted, maybe we'd be the displeased ones. :)
I'm really looking forward to feasting my senses on this game, visually, auditoril
Music is awesome. Art is awesome. I can't believe there were people saying this game didn't look aesthetically pleasing. Was there an old art style they were criticizing or something?
Kaisan and Jesse: Thank you!
Gosh that art is gorgeous.
As for the soundtrack, when I first pledged, I thought to myself, "Even if the game ended up not being great, it's well worth $15 for the soundtrack alone." (I know the game will be awesome too, though :)
The music really takes me back to playing the Quest for Glory games, which I always felt were also about exploring culture. This is going to be a great game.
Great art, gread music, great game - can´t wait for this! Hope that the stretch goals soon will be funded, so this great game can get even better.
@Karsten: Thanks a lot :D
Can't wait for this game! I am very happy that it has reached its funding goal a long time ago.
