AFTERMATH! 28mm Post Apocalyptic Miniatures

£3,427

Hello!
I'm Mark Evans, and I have been making miniatures for wargaming and roleplaying game companies for over 25 years. This is my first Kickstarter, but I have been involved as a sculptor in many others, including Cthulhu Wars by Petersen Games, Dwarf Veterans by Ral Partha Europe, Spies and Patriots by Brigadegames, along with The Assault Group and Effincoolminis to name just a few.

So whats this about?
I recently approched Scott Bizar at   https://www.fantasygamesunlimited.net one of, if not the oldest, roleplaying game publishing houses remaining - about the possibility of creating miniatures for a game I loved playing back in the early 80s: AFTERMATH!  He liked what he heard, and said OK, lets do it!
So that means the two miniatures you see here are fully licensed and endorsed by Fantasy Games Unlimited themselves!

Below you can see the original box cover art of AFTERMATH!,  and close up shots of the two Kickstarter miniatures based on the characters depicted.
I've intentionally kept very close to the retro look and feel of the artwork created by Robert Charrette back in 1981.

These miniatures can of course be used in any post apocalyptic setting utilising 28mm miniatures, and are even ideal for the painter who just loves to create cool dioramas.

Why Kickstarter?
Models, master mould and master castings are already made! If successful, this will fund the production moulds needed for a larger production run.
Helping bring this project to life is Pete Brown and the Mouldmaker gang - skilled veterans in the field - so rest assured we're in safe hands, as they mould and cast the models in lead free pewter.

This will be a short, 15 day project. We aim to have the miniatures in your hands no later than the end of September 2019.

There are plans for one or two stretch goals but I would like to keep this project simple, manageable and on time.
Thanks for reading and please feel free to ask questions/comment which I'll do my best to answer.

Cheers
        Mark

Risks and challenges

Due to this being a small kickstarter I envisage few problems. At worst a delay in delivery. Both miniatures are made, moulded and have cast well.

AFTERMATH! Is trademark of Fantasy Games Unlimited (registered trademark for "AFTERMATH!") and used under licence from Fantasy Games Unlimited
