3-part harmony, catchy pop, original songs; become a producer and join in the fun. The Pushovers are finally making an album!
You've been supporting The Pushovers at our live shows for years and now the future of rock and roll is in your hands.
Your support for this project will allow us to take it from amateur recording to professional album. Producing an album involves many steps:
-Writing (already done!)
-Recording guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and everything in between (1/2 done!)
-Mixing (we're planning to work with Mark Alan Miller at Sonelab Studios)
-Mastering (to make it sound just right)
-Artwork (Rachel Bone original--almost done!)
-Printing (how many should we order? what type of packaging? how many panels? can we afford vinyl? your support helps us make these decisions)
-Publicity (mailers to reviewers and other big-time folks)
When you support this album, we will thank you with tokens of our appreciation. But, more importantly, you will become an active producer, helping us get from one step to the next.
We thank you for all of your support over the years and look forward to working together to create something you can take home in those hot little hands.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Our biggest challenges are distance and time. We are a Long Distance Band (LDB), and therefore have to schedule our recording sessions for long weekends and other quick trips. Mixing and mastering will be equally difficult to schedule, so the project may take some time to complete. But it WILL get finished, and it WILL be amazing.
Yes! It's a unique guitar. It sounds like a sweet acoustic guitar but has the fun look of an electric.
I originally purchased this guitar when I was first playing out at open mics and for my first shows with the band. The width made it easy to hold for hours of practicing--it's not big and clunky like an acoustic. And because the body has chambers, you can practice on it without plugging in it, making it nice and quiet for the neighbors. When you want to play it with/for others you'll need to plug it in to an amp--but the amazing part is that it sounds just like an amplified acoustic guitar.
Comes with soft case! You can get it signed by The Pushovers OR keep it clean and new looking. Either way it's a guitar that looks like new, but has had a lot of love.
